    摘要:

    自译是一种特殊形态的翻译,涉及到了翻译者和创作者的身份重叠。自译者拥有较大的自主权和创作空间,自译作品是译者创作生命的循环。基于接受美学理论中的读者接受论,张爱玲在自译短篇小说《桂花蒸阿小悲秋》中充分发挥其主体性,有意识地选择翻译策略,产生了大量的变译现象,译文虽不完全忠实原文,但顺应了目的语读者的交际需要。

    Abstract:

    Selftranslation is a special form of translation which has an identity overlap of translators and creators. Since the translator has a greater autonomy and creative space, selftranslation works are the cycle of the translator's creation. Based on the reception theory, the paper analyses how Eileen Chang plays an active role in selftranslating her short novel Shame Amah and it is found that the translated text has lots of translation variations, which is not exactly loyal to the source text but conforms to the communicative needs of target readers.
