Abstract: The outbreak of the July 7th Incident brought China into a period of a full-scale counter-Japanese war. The cruel war made the living standard of the majority of people drop sharply. People from all walks of life were struggling for their livelihood, and people's livelihood issues such as health, prices, and employment had deteriorated from the beginning of the full-scale war to the end of the war, and the issue of people's livelihood had always been a major focus of public opinion. Around the issue of people's livelihood in the wartime including the relationship between people's livelihood and the war of resistance, the improvement of the lives of different social strata, and the price problem affecting people's livelihood, the community had launched a lasting discussion. This hot discussion reflected the realistic urgency of solving the problems of people's livelihood. Its essence was the discussion about the future of the war and the fate of the country. It reflected the dilemma of the national government to solve the problems of people's livelihood in wartime and the route of the war of resistance of nationalist party.
