| 摘 要： | 原事裁缝业的“阿包”在1846年成为了19世纪宁波首位圣公会教徒。“阿包”信仰笃定，主动向身边的底层百姓布道，成果得到了传教士的肯定。“阿包”个性外向，但有时也脾性不定，这点深深地左右了他与传教士间的人际往来。1858年秋日，他与原本信奉罗马方济各会的中国医生“丁先生”展开了多次教义舌战，最终“阿包”打动了“丁先生”，推动其转入圣公会。“阿包”能以低微社会身份取得较大传教成果的原因主要有三:首先，他有着独特的身世资源，可以与底层民众心心相印；其次，他具备良好个人魅力，能动人以情；复次，他与传教士间有职业、宗教双重纽带绑定。在近代中西交流史上，“阿包”案例不仅构成检视外来文化“在地化”的良好样本，——近代外来文化中国化的历程从来不是精英“独创”，。

| Abstract: | In 1846, Bao, who used to be a tailor, became the first Anglican in Ningbo in the 19th century. Bao had a firm belief. He preached to the people at the bottom of the society and was affirmed by the missionaries. Bao was extroverted in personality, but sometimes he has uncertain temperament, which deeply influenced his interpersonal relationship with missionaries. In the autumn of 1858, he argued heatedly with the Chinese doctor “Mr. Ding”, who believed in the Franciscans of Rome. Ultimately, Bao moved “Mr. Ding” and promoted him to the Church missionary. There are three main reasons why Bao can achieve great missionary achievements with a low social status: First of all, he has unique life experience resources that can connected with the people at the bottom; Secondly, he has good personal magnetism which can touched people by affection. Thirdly, he had professional and religious ties with missionaries. In the modern history of communication between China and the west, the case of Bao constitutes not only a good sample of examining the “localization” of foreign culture, but also an interpretation of “the initiative of the common people”. That is to say, the process of the localization of foreign culture in China has never been a solely created by elites. Ordinary people with ordinary origins can also become practitioners of cultural integration |
