影响科技翻译中显化频率和分布的参数:语篇专业性程度

摘    要:科技翻译中的显化在某种程度上取决于语篇专业性程度,语篇专业性程度与话语参与者的主题掌握能力相关。语篇专业性程度这一参数与科技翻译中显化的频率和分布相关,分析根据语篇专业性程度安排的科技语料可考察这种关联性。复合词相关的显化是科技翻译的典型特征,基于来自语料库的多个例子的分析,可以认为语篇专业性程度与显化尤其是科技翻译中的复合词相关的显化之间存在相关性。

Abstract:The frequency and distribution of explicitation in scientific and technical translation (STT), to a certain extent, depends on the textual degree of technicality, which is related to the subject-matter competence of the discourse participants. The potential link between this parameter and the frequency and distribution of explicitation in STT can be investigated by an analysis of a scientific and technical corpus structured according to the textual degree of specialization. Compound-related explicitation as a prototypical feature of STT is focused on and analyzed in detail with various examples from the corpus. The results of the analysis show that there is a correlation between the textual degree of specialization and the frequency and distribution of explicitation, especially compound-related explicitation, in STT
