| 摘 要： | 文章基于中外高校英文简介语料库，运用广义语篇分析法(语篇符号分析和语篇信息分析)，从形符、类符和标准类符形符比、平均句长、平均单词长、易读性、可读性、信息类型、信息结构等测量维度考察中外高校网页对外宣传的语言差异，并从政治、经济和文化角度进行差异解读，最后从对外宣传角度对中国高校英文简介存在的问题提出改进意见。

| Abstract: | This study, based on CI and FI, and the methods of generalized discourse analysis (discourse sign analysis and discourse information analysis) revealed the differences between English profiles of Chinese universities and those of foreign universities in English-speaking countries based on the measures of tokens, word types, Standard Type-Token Ratio(STTR), Average Sentence Length(ASL), Average Word Length(AWL), reading ease, readability, information types and information structure. Then, political, economical and cultural explanations are presented to account for such differences, and finally some suggestions from the perspective of foreign propaganda are concluded for the improvement of English profiles of Chinese universities. |
