IT技术的广泛应用引起了众多行业戏剧性的变化,企业管理人员越来越发现IT已成为组织的一个战略性要素,如何建立与企业战略相适应的IT战略也成为实业界和学术界讨论的热点问题。本文结合Henderson与Venkatraman提出的战略匹配模型,通过研究UPS与FedEx公司在不同竞争阶段应用相应的IT战略来支持竞争的整个发展过程,指出了UPS和FedEx在不同的环境下运用不同的战略匹配模型来选择与企业战略相匹配的IT战略的途径,从而提出了在不同的竞争环境下,根据企业关注的焦点不同,选择不同的IT战略与企业战略相适应的方法,这一方法将有助于指导企业管理人员制定与企业战略相匹配的IT战略。 相似文献

This paper presents an integrative model for strategic local planning based on the concept of spatial capital. The model bridges the gap between vision and reality by stimulating actions that are directed at mitigating challenges to the vision. The model uses the concept of ‘spatial capital,’ which is based on the accumulated assets and capabilities of a region. In addition, ‘development engines,’ which are alternative macrostrategies designed to help achieve the major goals set by the plan’s vision, are offered for use by the model. In this study, a hybrid discrete event simulation (DES) and system dynamics (SD) methodology is applied to model and simulate aggregate production planning (APP) problem for the first time. DES is used to simulate operational-level and shop-floor activities incorporated into APP and estimate critical time-based control parameters used in SD model of APP and SD is used to simulate APP as a collection of aggregate-level strategic decisions. The main objective of this study is to determine and analyse the effectiveness of APP strategies regarding the Total Profit criterion by developing a hybrid DES–SD simulation model for APP in a real-world manufacturing company. The simulation results demonstrated that the priority of APP strategies with regards to Total Profit criterion is: (1) the pure chase strategy, (2) the modified chase strategy, (3) the pure level strategy, (4) the modified level strategy, (5) the mixed strategy and (6) the demand management strategy, respectively. The APP system is first simulated under mixed strategy (basic scenario) conditions to include all APP capacity and demand options in constructed SD simulation model to show a comprehensive view of APP components and their interdependent interactions. Then, the obtained results will be used as Total Profit measure to compare with system's performance under some experimental scenarios applying different APP strategies. 相似文献

Based on the production organization processes of steel-iron factories,this paper proposes a hybrid MTO-MTS order planning management method,and establishes integer programming models for the order planning problems based on MTO management idea and MTO-MTS management idea respectively. The models take into account earliness/tardiness penalty,inventory cost,production cost,inventory matching cost and order cancellation penalty,and consider inventory matching and production planning simultaneously. In order to solve the models,a PSO algorithm with heuristic repaired strategy for infeasible solutions is designed. In the experiments,parameters are analyzed and three sets of data with different order quantities are tested. Numerical results show that the MTO-MTS management mode can avoid the risk of demand forecasting inaccuracy, coordinate the contradiction of fast delivery and low inventory,and adapt to the development trend of the diversification and individualization of market demand. 相似文献

A virtual business problem is studied, in which a company-contractor outsources production to specialized subcontractors. Finances of the contractor and resource capacities of subcontractors are limited. The objective is to select subcontractors and distribute a part of the demanded production among them so that the profit of the contractor is maximized. A generalization of the knapsack problem, called Knapsack-of-Knapsacks (K-of-K), is used to model this situation, in which items have to be packed into small knapsacks and small knapsacks have to be packed into a large knapsack. The aim of this paper is to identify differences, if any, between the characteristics of male and female businesses and to establish whether female businesses do constitute a distinct entrepreneurial group. The paper presents the results of an ongoing study based on a national survey of nearly 6000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the UK. Given that existing research tends to focus, in the main, on the pre-start up and start-up differences, this study aims to identify gender-based differences between male and female owned/managed businesses in their post-formation stage. A gender-based business competence development model is developed and a case is made for what is termed 'gender-based entrepreneurialism'. It is argued given that established male and female businesses exhibit different characteristics, gender-based entrepreneurialism should be acknowledged and considered by policy makers within the SME sector. Female owned/managed businesses may require differentiated policies beyond the pre-start up and start-up stages for developing business competencies and to nurture their growth and development. 相似文献

Despite the increasing interest in the intersection between strategic planning and business model management, research and practice struggle to integrate the two activities. By applying a rationalist view and drawing on the formal control theory, we develop an integrated management framework that provides a conceptual model of how to achieve consistency between the relevant goal and the planning levels. Therefore, we decompose the complex organizational activities into the level strategy, business model portfolio, tactics, and operations. For each level, we specify the formal activities and objectives and elaborate how the levels determine each other. Furthermore, we explain how higher and lower level formal control loops ensure alignment and that the appropriate level of the organization responds to changes in the environment. Finally, we discuss how these formal control mechanisms allow for proficient management of the dynamics inherent in strategy and business model management. 相似文献
