《联合早报》同题文章说，在中美博弈中，每一次美国挑衅的结果，几乎都占“上风”。究其原因，重要的是中美之间的实力悬殊，导致中国没有能力回击美国的挑战，只好一次次吞下美国“塞给”的“苦果”。

五四运动,爆发于民族危难之际,是中国革命史上一个重要的转折点,既是一场青年的思想变革运动,也是中华民族史上伟大的救亡图存运动。2019年是五四运动爆发100周年,也是新中国成立70周年,学术界掀起了五四运动的研究热潮,并且取得了丰硕的成就。     

美国双边投资框架协议（2012）研究

美国2012年双边投资协定范本是目前美国双边投资谈判的依据。这一范本在2004年范本的基础上主要修改了4个方面的内容。以美国2012年双边投资协定范本为基础,中美双边投资协定谈判关注的重要问题聚焦了中美双方的主要利益分歧。该范本的公布,以及中方承诺采用准入前国民待遇和负面清单,有望推动中美BIT谈判进入实质性阶段,这将影响中国经济和全球经济,也对中国下一步的谈判有所启示。

跨文化视角下中美价值观的碰撞

《美国价值观——一个中国学者的探讨》以一位中国学者的眼光看待美国文化和价值观,在追求客观性和真实性的基础上研究美国价值观。然而原作没有过多涉及中国价值观。笔者将弥补这一缺憾,运用跨文化交际的相关理论,从个人主义、家庭观以及宗教观入手,采取夹叙夹议的方法对比分析中美两国的价值观,旨在揭示只有在理解价值观的基础上,跨文化交流才能更加融洽顺利。

2011年5月9日、10日,第三轮中美战略与经济对话在美国华盛顿举行。在战略对话期间,美国国务卿希拉里称,中美两国“合作比冲突对两国好处更多”,“一个繁荣的美国有利于中国,一个繁荣的中国有利于美国”。

浅谈中美文学作品中诗篇的地域风格差异

从中美文学作品的比较分析来看,中美文学中的诗歌大多具有鲜明的地域性特征。我们通过分析这些诗篇的地域性,可以很好地了解中西文化差异和地方风土人情,更好地中美文学的地域文化的传承,本文以中国第一部诗歌《诗经》和美国诗歌《海湾圣诗》等几部作品为典型,以期在诗歌的鉴赏基础上,掌握中美文学诗歌中所展现出来的地域文化内涵。

Social Welfare of the Aged Comments on some Overseas developments

I must first make a brief comment on this very broad title. Such a vast topic could not be reviewed in one paper, even if I had at my fingertips all the knowledge it would require. What in fact I aim to do is simply to comment on trends in programmes of social welfare for the aged which I became aware of while on study leave in 1966. My primary object was to observe developments in the field of medical social work, but since the practice of social work in hospitals is concerned to a large and ever-increasing extent with the social needs of the aged, and community endeavours to provide for those needs, the welfare of the aged always has a very central place in the medical social worker's interest.     

Gendered Identities in the Work of Overseas Tour Reps

Gender construction within the tourism and leisure industry is under‐researched. In this article, we draw on empirical research on overseas tour reps to consider the ways in which men and women working alongside each other in the same feminized role ‘do gender’. In particular we explore how these workers deal with the particular dilemmas of the sexualization of women at work and the men reps’ potential threat to their heterosexuality, in a role where the boundaries between work and play are ambiguous. We argue that reps reveal masculinities and femininities that comply with traditional expectations. Young men reps are portrayed in ‘laddish’ terms in relation to their engagement with alcohol and sexual relationships with guests. Women reps emphasize their role as providers of emotional labour and taking control of guests’ perceptions and report refraining from sexual relationships with guests. Even within the same work role in this case study, men and women appear to construct different work identities.

根据学缘网络理论建构分析在英、法、德三国的中国留学人员社团组织发展情况发现,与以往历史时期的留学人员社团组织相比较,新的社团组织受时代发展的影响,在组织形式、基本性质、组织目标等诸多方面都发生了巨大的变化。这就要求我国以全球化的视野和全新的方式方法处理留学人员社团组织问题,妥善加以引导,使其在留学人员权益保障、人才引进等方面充分发挥作用。     

Overseas workers' remittances in Asian development

In recent years, overseas workers from Asia have been sending remittances of about $8 billion annually to their home countries. These remittances are an important source of precious foreign exchange for the major labor-exporting countries. The overall development impact of remittances, however, has not been well established. Remittances are spent primarily on day-to-day consumption expenditures, housing, land purchase, and debt repayment. Although only a small proportion of remittances are directed into productive investments, this does not warrant the conclusion that the developmental value of remittances is negligible. In fact, remittances spent on domestic goods and services Asia provide an important stimulus to indigenous industries and to the economies of the labor supplying countries. It is these broader macroeconomic benefits of remittances which seem to have been largely ignored in the literature, and this perhaps explains the pessimistic view of the developmental value of remittances. Reservations concerning the effects of remittance on the sending countries include the fears that 1) expenditure patterns of remittance receiving households may create a demonstration effect whereby nonmigrant households may increase consumption, 2) remittance inflow will increase income and wealth inequalities, 3) remittance expenditures may result in inflation, 4) remittances may produce only short-term fluctuations in long-term economic development, and 5) remittances may adversely affect agricultural development.     

An Experiment in Overseas Field Instruction

This paper reports on a study that examined the knowledge needed for practice in community mental health and the primary source for this knowledge. Differences were found in knowledge areas needed for practice in community mental health settings when contrasted with practice in more traditional mental health agencies. The most frequently indicated source of knowledge for social work roles in community mental health was on-the-job experience. Courses in social work schools were not a primary source of knowledge for the many nonclinical roles undertaken by social workers in community mental health.

This paper provides an outline of the various organizations working with or for Aborigines in South Australia and a discussion of questions of co-ordination and co-operation. The analysis will inevitably be subjective. In the first place one man's way of seeing things is a result of his previous experience and environment; secondly, there was no opportunity for an exhaustive investigation of all the groups in this field. Lastly, I am employed by an organization to which I have naturally developed certain loyalties and attitudes. I have, however, attempted to state what I believe and I have not made statements for effect or to score points.
