通过对包头市四所中学教师的抽样调查,中学教师的职业角色意识参差不齐,职业态度和角色认知也不很令人满意。需要转变教师职业意识,优化教师外部环境,制定完善的管理制度,加强教师自身修养。

口语的特征之一就是话语中充满犹豫词,表明了说话人的犹豫。前人分别从形式与语篇功能角度研究犹豫词,本文以此为基础,从Verschueren提出的顺应论角度分析这一语言现象,揭示产生犹豫词的意识凸显程度与其它制约因素。     

高校中外合作办学项目学生跨文化适应状况及其影响因素

研究表明,参与我国高校中外合作办学项目的学生整体心理适应状况良好,在社会文化适应五维度中,人际交往方面的适应困难最大,其次为学业适应。学历、留学时长、国内阶段教学满意度等因素对学生的整体跨文化适应状况具有重要影响。     

Adaptation of Tastes to Constraints

This paper examines a model in which people’s preferences adjust to changes in their relative ability to attain various goals. Preference changes are modeled as changes in the configuration of weights (or values) attached to these goals. The model permits to explain common prototype changes of preferences such as the ‘sour grapes’ or the ‘overcompensating’ phenomenon. It is found that whether the first or the second phenomenon occurs depends on whether a goal is easy or difficult to substitute by other goals. If two goals are sufficiently strong substitutes for each other, no weight will be placed on that goal which is harder to attain. The results readily apply to the standard microeconomic set-up involving goods and prices, rather than abstract goals and abilities. In this case, one implication of the model is that only a subset of the overall commodity space is relevant for everyday consumer choice, which reduces the complexity of the choice procedure. The model also permits to explain how new and unfamiliar products are incorporated into the consumer’s preference pattern.     

论语言适应论的语境生成观

语言适应论框架下的语境论是一种以适应性为核心的生成观,它认为语境不是给定的,而是一个动态的受限生成过程。这种生成观将语境的建构性、自组织性、受限性与涌现性的关系的认识,提出到一个新的理论层面,它具有三个显著特征:1."生成"是受限的;2.语境生成的"过程"重于生成的"结果";3."生成"是涌现的。     

Manufacturing Kinship in a Nation Divided: An Ethnographic Study of North Korean Refugees in South Korea

The South Korean government continues to practice variants of what Stephan Castles (1995) calls ‘differential exclusion’, in which citizenship in the nation state for North Koreans does not confer membership in civil society. For new arrivals from North Korea, many of whom have developed a distinct distrust of anything governmental, interaction with representatives of the South Korean state bares a chilling resemblance to that which they left behind in the North.

This article argues that for newly-arrived North Koreans the failure at state level does not mean they are entirely cast adrift, as religious and secular institutions within civil society are shouldering more of the burden of adaptation for the newcomers. This article endeavours to further our understanding of the significance of these groups as spaces where, for persons in exile, the meaning of home is recreated through acts of intimate exchange and relationships are formed that have the potential to become a form of pseudo-kinship.     

What Changes MSW Students' View on the Mission of Social Work?

Little is known about how professional social work education affects students' view on the social work mission. Using a secondary analysis of larger longitudinal data collected from masters in social work (MSW) students in California, USA, this study sought to explore the relationship among the students' demographic characteristics, their primary reasons for pursuing an MSW degree, and their view on the mission of social work at the time of entering an MSW program, whether the students' view on the mission of social work changed in the course of an MSW education, and factors contributing to a change of MSW students' view on the social work mission—individual adaptation vs societal change—between the beginning and the end of the MSW program. The results showed that students' degree of social action involvement, type of field practicum, and ideological variables predicted students' view changes or adherence between entering the MSW program and graduating.     

Reported Coping Strategies and Depressive Symptoms Among African American and White Residents of Congregate Housing

Chronic health conditions and living in congregate housing, both stressors and losses, are risk factors for late life depressive symptoms. We examined self-reported coping strategies and their associations with depressive symptoms among residents of congregate living facilities. Despite demographic differences between the African American and the White participants, reported coping for the 2 groups was similar, though more African Americans reported spiritual coping. Participants who reported coping through either positive attitude and adaptations or activity participation had fewer depressive symptoms, after controlling for demographics, health, functioning, and other types of coping.
