近代的个人权利本位观、现代的社会权利本位观都存在很大缺陷,发展权由于自身具有的优势,决定其应成为当代法制保障的重点对象。文章同时提出了发展权法制保障的基本原则:平等性保障原则、权力能动性原则、尊重生态自然的原则。

说“的”的指称问题

在分析带“的3”的多项定语和“开车的技术”一类结构基础上，发现现代汉语中一些“X的3”作为独立结构时，指称功能没有变化，而进入其他句法结构后，存在实际指称能力丧失现象。在具体的句法环境中，“的3”可进一步分化为：有指称性作用的“的K”和无指称性作用的“的T”。     

Online learning and forecast combination in unbalanced panels

This article evaluates the performance of a few newly proposed online forecast combination algorithms and compares them with some of the existing ones including the simple average and that of Bates and Granger (1969). We derive asymptotic results for the new algorithms that justify certain established approaches to forecast combination including trimming, clustering, weighting, and shrinkage. We also show that when implemented on unbalanced panels, different combination algorithms implicitly impute missing data differently, so that the performance of the resulting combined forecasts are not comparable. After explicitly imputing the missing observations in the U.S. Survey of Professional Forecasters (SPF) over 1968 IV-2013 I, we find that the equally weighted average continues to be hard to beat, but the new algorithms can potentially deliver superior performance at shorter horizons, especially during periods of volatility clustering and structural breaks.     

Flying through Ash Clouds: Improvising Aeromobilities in Singapore and Australasia

Scholars have recently been concerned with how the aviation industry is assembled through a series of tightly coupled processes and relations that render it fragile and prone to disruptions. While not disagreeing with this view, this paper explores some alternative ways aviation can be reunderstood as something more emergent and adaptable. Two ash cloud events, in Singapore and Australasia, are elucidated to show how breakdowns in air travel seldom unfold without intervening human actions and spontaneous reformations. Suggesting that aerial systems are thus continually renewed, this paper seeks to recognize in (aero)mobilities their potential for improvisation, even as it acknowledges their riskiness.     

考“睹当”——兼论《汉语大词典》“参见”关联的失误

近代汉语中出现的“睹当”、“堵当”、“覩当”、“赌当”等一组口语词之间存在形音义上的交叉关系，从一定程度上反映了汉语词汇是个立体性的系统。而《汉语大词典》对该组词所作的“参见”关联指引存在失误，不仅未能起到合理建构词汇系统、明确词汇源流演变过程的作用，反使其形音义关系混乱。反映《汉语大词典》“参见”关联指引存在界定模糊、不符合《汉语大词典》编纂方针的问题。     

Becoming aware of the grand social challenges: how an international and interdisciplinary educational context may broaden students’ perspectives on human rights and public health

ABSTRACT

The understanding of contemporary social problems and challenges in an international and national perspective is a significant issue for social work because of globalisation and social problems are too complex to handle by single actors themselves. The need for interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration is important. This paper focuses on experiences from an Erasmus Intensive Programme with the title Human Rights, Public Health and Social Service Challenges on Local Government in the Nordic-Baltic Sea Area. Social work students from different countries interacted with students from other disciplines such as political science, psychology and economy to discuss common challenges and solutions in this field. The analysis of the findings shows students reflect upon human rights issues as universal rights and how challenges presented by contextual differences in preconditions for everyday life between the countries, are reflected from different disciplines/professional perspectives. The paper argues that international and interdisciplinary programmes, where students get the opportunity to meet and to work with overarching and transnational issues, have a great potential for engaging students in global development in a rapidly changing world.     

The Quality of Pitches in Major League Baseball

This article considers the quality of pitches in Major League Baseball (MLB). Based on approximately 2.2 million pitches taken from the 2013, 2014, and 2015 MLB seasons, the quality of a particular pitch is evaluated as the expected number of bases conceded. Quality is expressed as a function of various covariates including pitch count, pitch location, pitch type, and pitch speed. The estimation of the pitch quality is obtained through the use of random forest methodology to accommodate the inherent complexity of the relationship between pitch quality and the associated covariates. With the fitted model, various applications are considered which provide new insights on pitching and batting.     

论“都”不具有“已经”的语法意义——兼与郭春贵先生商榷

"都"作为副词除了表示总括的范围意义外,还可以表示强调的语气。它并不兼表"已经"的语法意义。通过对比可以发现,"都……了"含有的"已经"义不是"都"带来的,而是"了"负载的。"都"的语气意义不宜用"甚至"解释,而是强调说话者主观上认为某种情况超过应有的或一般的限度。
