Taking clue from the pioneer work of Singh and Sedory (2013), we have suggested a new stratified randomized response (RR) model. Several studies have shown that social identity fosters the provision of public goods and enhances the willingness to reciprocate the cooperative behavior of group members. Nonetheless, the question of how social identity affects negative reciprocity in identity-homogeneous and -heterogeneous groups has only received little attention. Consequently, we seek to fill this gap by examining whether social identity affects individuals’ willingness to sanction deviating group members in a public good context. Moreover, we devote particular attention to the role of anger-like emotions in negative reciprocity. To test our hypotheses, we employ one-shot public good games in a strategy method with punishment opportunity and induced social identity. Our results indicate that members of identity-homogeneous groups are prone to reveal less negative reciprocity than identity-heterogeneous groups when they face contributions smaller than their own. We also find that anger-like emotions much more strongly influence punishment behavior when individuals are matched with members of different identities than in identity-homogenous groups. These findings contribute to an increased understanding of the nature of social identity and its impact on reciprocity, improving economists’ ability to predict behavior while taking emotions into consideration. 相似文献

Social network analysts have often collected data on negative relations such as dislike, avoidance, and conflict. Most often, the ties are analyzed in such a way that the fact that they are negative is of no consequence. For example, they have often been used in blockmodeling analyses where many different kinds of ties are used together and all ties are treated the same, regardless of meaning. However, sometimes we may wish to apply other network analysis concepts, such as centrality or cohesive subgroups. The question arises whether all extant techniques are applicable to negative tie data. In this paper, we consider in a systematic way which standard techniques are applicable to negative ties and what changes in interpretation have to be made because of the nature of the ties. We also introduce some new techniques specifically designed for negative ties. Finally we show how one of these techniques for centrality can be extended to networks with both positive and negative ties to give a new centrality measure (PN centrality) that is applicable to directed valued data with both positive and negative ties. 相似文献

This case analysis examined the image repair strategies used by Juneyao Airlines after an anonymous blog posted information on a Juneyao flight's refusal to yield to a flight that issued an emergency call. This case revealed that addressing the credibility of the blog post and relying a third-party – Civil Aviation Administration of China – to combat the inaccuracies in the blog post was successful and that Juneyao's final announcement to take responsibility for the incident and to apologize was effective as well. 相似文献

面临全球气候变暖和能源短缺的双重危机,我国在明确提出“双碳”目标后,党的二十大报告再次强调了绿色低碳产业和绿色低碳生活方式在实现高质量发展中的关键作用。在此背景下,深入探讨家庭这一重要能耗部门的能源消费及其碳排放状况,对于探寻家庭碳减排的有效路径具有重要意义。本文以占据家庭主要能源消耗的间接用能为代表,以中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)数据为基础,基于消费生活方式法测度了家庭间接碳排放量,并通过构建双向固定效应模型实证分析了互联网使用对家庭碳排放的影响;在此基础上,采用中介效应模型和Bootstrap法共同验证了互联网使用影响家庭间接碳排放的作用路径;并进一步基于家庭所在地区、城乡类别以及收入水平差异这三个视角,探讨了互联网使用对家庭间接碳排放的异质性影响。研究发现:首先,互联网使用正向促进了家庭间接碳排放,对享受型消费碳排放和发展型消费碳排放的增加效应最为显著,而对生存型消费碳排放则没有明显的影响。其次,互联网使用主要通过网络购物这一中介变量对家庭间接碳排放产生正向影响。最后,异质性分析表明:互联网使用对东部、中部以及西部地区家庭的间接碳排放均有显著的正向影响,且作用强度从中部、西部到东... 相似文献

Why and when do employees respond to inclusive leadership by actively seeking negative feedback from their leaders? Beyond the perspectives proposed in previous studies, we offer a new angle based on a social identity perspective and propose that inclusive leadership increases employees' negative feedback-seeking behavior (NFSB) by facilitating employees' organizational identification. We also theorize that employees' supervisor organizational embodiment (SOE) influences the extent to which employees identify with the organization, which in turn triggers their NFSB. The results from a three-wave survey study conducted in China showed that inclusive leadership fostered employees' organizational identification, thereby facilitating employees' NFSB, and that the effect of inclusive leadership was stronger when employees’ SOE was higher.
