语文课程素养培养模式的探索与建构——以湛江师范学院中文专业为例

语文课程素养是师范院校中文专业人才培养的综合素养,也是人才培养目标的高度浓缩。"课程整合、平台贯通、操作一体化"培养模式,则是针对当下中文专业人才培养中的问题及素养形成规律提出的具体方案。要使这个方案落实到教学中,既需要教师改变课程观念、确定语文课程素养的培养目标,又要通过教学评价进行引导。而这一方案一旦成为教学中的共识,将大大提高师范院校中文专业的人才培养效率和水平。     

‘A lad tried to get hold of my boobs,so I kicked him’: an examination of attempts by adults with learning difficulties to initiate their own safeguarding

People with learning difficulties are considerably more likely to experience sexual and other forms of violence than non-disabled people. Nevertheless, several respondents in this study have demonstrated some self-protective competencies. Most knew of their right not to be violated and a number of participants described situations when they had attempted to initiate their own safeguarding. Some had asked others for help with this. However, appropriate assistance was not always provided. This indicates that risk may be aggravated by social barriers. This paper focuses on highlighting the resistance skills that are prevalent amongst some people with learning difficulties. It concludes with suggestions on ways in which individuals may be further supported to realise their potential to play a more active role in directing and regaining their own protection.     

新世纪高校学生干部培养

随着近年来高校招生规模的不断扩大,学生数量急剧增加,一直备受关注的学生管理工作又成为各学校瞩目的焦点,而这一焦点的着力点自然就落到了高校学生干部的培养工作上来。高校学生干部是联系学校、老师和普通学生的桥梁,是学生管理工作中的重要力量,优秀的学生干部能更好的服务于广大学生,因此学生干部的培养尤为重要。目前面对新形势高校学生干部队伍还存在一系列问题与不足,针对这些问题,高校应该加强对学生干部的教育培训、实践锻炼和学习交流,不断健全学生干部培养机制,努力培养一批高素质、高水平、高层次、高能力的高校学生干部队伍。以高校学生干部的培养为立足点,分析新形势下面对学生数量的急剧增加高校培养优秀学生干部的应对策略。     

Winnicott’s “Potential Space” and the Jewish Study Hall for social work students,faculty and practitioners

Abstract

The article addresses the potential interface and dialogue between academic and quasi-academic spaces. In particular, it examines the space of the Jewish Study Hall (Beit Midrash) as facilitative of the professional as well as personal development of social work students and practitioners in an Israeli college. We examine how Winnicott’s potential space concept contributes to understanding the Study Hall’s uniqueness as an extracurricular learning space within the School of Social Work. Twenty participants in the Beit Midrash for Judaism and Social Work took part in the study. Thematic analysis of transcribed sessions revealed three themes: (1) The Beit Midrash as a peaceful, safe and inclusive physical space; (2) The Beit Midrash as a space for playing out different realities; and (3) The Beit Midrash as contributing to social work training. Findings indicate that potential spaces that embrace the metaphysical world can help students engaged in religion and spirituality to complement and expand their academic training. We conclude by recommending that Winnicottian potential spaces that embrace the metaphysical world be integrated in social work programmes.     

Evaluation of a Training to Reduce Provider Bias Toward Pregnant Patients With Substance Abuse

The objective of this article is not to present a scientific or systematic study, but to provide an initial framework for designing a training workshop to enhance health practitioners’ (nurses, social workers, physicians, etc.) knowledge regarding substance abuse treatment and to decrease their bias toward substance-abusing women, particularly pregnant women in rural communities. We incorporated the 4 Transdisciplinary Foundations from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Competencies Model, with specific competencies targeted that related to provider bias. After the conference, 52 of the 70 participants completed a questionnaire to self-assess knowledge level and confidence in skill related to substance abuse management. Participant mean scores were statistically significantly higher following the conference than 1 week prior (p < .001) in the area of “gender difference with substance abuse,” moving from an average of 2.6 to 4.5 on a 5-point Likert scale. Our conference was successful in increasing attendees’ knowledge about gender difference and substance abuse among pregnant patients.     

Characteristics and Outcomes of College-Age Adults Enrolled in Private Residential Treatment: Implications for Practice

Substance use among college-age adults is of interest due to high levels of use and low levels of treatment access and engagement relative to other adults. Data collected from 1,972 clients in residential services were analyzed to investigate differences in use patterns, treatment outcomes, and other life area problems. Participants completed an Addiction Severity Index (ASI) and the University of Rhode Island Change Assessment (URICA) at baseline, and an ASI and Treatment Services Review at 1-month and 6-month postdischarge interviews. Almost a quarter (24.1%) of participants were college age (18–25 years old). They were more likely to be White and male, and less likely to complete treatment although they had a longer average length of stay. College-age adults improved on all outcome measures, and posttreatment service use shows significant difference between college-age and older participants. Implications for practice are discussed.     

乡村教师科研培训课程体系的构建——基于粤西北的调查

调查显示，乡村教师的科研处于初始或停滞状态，亟需构建科研能力培训课程体系。乡村教师缺乏教育教学反思能力是现实中普遍存在的问题，为此要加强对乡村教师教育理论知识的重温与重构。另外，针对乡村教师科研热情不高的现状，要建立科研培训课程体系。一方面，根据教育实践问题为科研活动提供研究方向，设置侧重科研过程原则性和步骤性的培训课程；另一方面，将乡村教师在日常教育教学中生发的心得体会和经验总结转化为科研论文，设置科研论文写作的培训课程。     

An Inquiry into Liberty,Slavery, and Thomas Jefferson’s Place in American Memory

Abstract

This article presents a guided inquiry into Thomas Jefferson’s place in American memory. It centers on Jefferson’s liberty-based articulations and his involvement in slavery, which are paradoxical when juxtaposed. Evocative primary sources and competing secondary sources ground the inquiry. Discipline-specific strategies direct students through the stages of inquiry. Close reading, text-based writing, and informed action intertwine with history literacy, historical thinking, and historical argumentation. Discussion focuses on logical curricular extensions.
