文化秩序建构的重心转移与有限激进改革——基于“三方博弈模型”的分析

文化秩序是文化现代化的核心维度,文化秩序的建构、解构及其再建构是体制改革内部规则的外在表征。从博弈论的角度建构＂三方博弈＂体制模型可以作为30年文化体制改革和当代文化秩序格局的一种分析范式,从博弈力量对比分析可以看出,体制运作机制呈现外在秩序相对均衡但内在秩序失衡的基本格局。因此文化博弈力量＂均衡化＂的秩序建构应该通过有限激进改革加速重心转移——从外在走向内在、由广度走向深度。这种秩序建构的重心转移有其内在合理性和可行性,有限激进改革有赖于挖掘重心转移的动力、转化变革阻力、寻找合理的突破口。当前秩序调整的重心转移和有限激进改革有利于启动文化体制建构的＂后阀值效应＂,克服文化冲突实现文化和谐。     

Hogging the road

This essay examines how aesthetic, corporate and cultural formations have radically altered. motorcycling and its image over the past two decades as a means to highlight more general changes in cultural politics, citizenship and governing through culture. The essay begins with the Guggenheim's The Art of the Motorcycle exhibit, treated. as a means for shaping and governing thought and conduct about and on motorcycles. The essay then addresses numerous articulations between aesthetic criteria and economic practices that have benefited. corporate and professional entities at the expense of long-time motorcyclists. Lastly, the essay formulates genealogical criteria for assessing attempts to represent culture in the hopes of more actively engaging in struggles over not just representation, but the activation of modes of thought, conduct and citizenship.

中英文时间表征的对比探析

从时间的似真表征和隐喻表征对比分析可以发现汉语和英语时间表征上的异同。操汉语的人是基于客观真实时间顺序和主观想象时间顺序来构建其句子和概念的，其时间表征多为似真表征方式，英语里虽也有某种程度的似真表征，但说英语的人更多的是依据形态语法和抽象原则来表征时间关系的；时间的隐喻表征在两种语言中既有相同之处也有很大差别，这主要源于不同文化的价值观和认知方式     

Collective Self-Esteem and Coping Strategies among Vietnamese American Adolescents

This article reports on the “social empathy attitudes” results that were part of a larger study on empathy in college students at a large research university in the Southwest. Two hundred ninety-four students completed the Social Empathy Assessment Index (SEAI). The research hypothesis was that students of color would have higher levels of social empathy attitudes than Caucasian students. The statistically significant SEAI items suggested that Latino students identify as more collectivist and more optimistic and have higher levels of social empathy attitudes. Latinos may be more willing to help a stranger than either Caucasians or members of other racial groups.     

Pity and pragmatism: understandings of disability in northeast Thailand

Cultural models of illness causation and treatment inform community understandings of and responses to disability. Data collected as part of a multi‐country study, conducted in 2002–2007, illustrate how villagers from northeastern Thailand conceptualise disability (pikarn). Local understandings of causality are shaped by Buddhist beliefs in accumulated demerit, and this significantly influences attitudes towards illness, adversity and bodily states. Buddhist notions of love and compassion (metta and kurana) inform appropriate responses to people living with disabilities, while local distinctions of ability and disability inform expressions of sympathy and/or pity (songsarn), with implications for the social participation of people with a disability.

为了探讨高校校报编辑活动与文化学的内在联系,以及高校校报编辑活动现存的问题,从文化学的角度入手,通过对文化学与编者活动的双向建构以及文化中介对校报编辑活动的支撑力等方面的探讨和研究,得出重视校报的人文文化内涵,提高文化学传媒品质对校报编辑活动的创新和发展具有十分重要的意义。     

论《恩施州民族研究丛书》的文化特点与意义

2000年以来，恩施州民宗委组织全州民族与文化工作者开展民间文化再挖救工程，到2006年已完成民族民间文化挖掘与研究的课题49个，并将其编著成书共49部，形成了《恩施州民族民间研究丛书》，这套丛书函盖了民族研究的方方面面，展示了恩施州深厚的民族民间文化，是研究鄂西地区民族问题和民族民间文化的基本材料，为继承与创新民族民间文化起到了奠基作用。
