双自由度锥面包络圆柱蜗杆传动齿形参数的优化设计

本文针对双自由度锥面包络圆柱蜗杆传动这种新型传动形式，从设计角度出发，首次提出了以最佳接触区为目标函数，对该蜗杆副齿形参数进行优化设计的方法。优化结果不仅使得接触线的形状、分布等有利于动压油膜的形成，而且使其承载能力也有较大的提高。同时，通过该优化方法可使这种蜗杆副齿形参数的选择不再变得自由。     

Fixed effects ANOVA: an extension to samples with random size

In many relevant situations, such as in medical research, sample sizes may not be previously known. The aim of this paper is to extend one and more than one-way analysis of variance to those situations and show how to compute correct critical values. The interest of this approach lies in avoiding false rejections obtained when using the classical fixed size F-tests. Sample sizes are assumed as random and we then proceed with the application of this approach to a database on cancer.

本文应用系统识别法研究粘弹性材料动态特性,给出了两种粘弹材料动态特性的实验结果,介绍了试验装置及微机测试系统。理论分析和实验结果表明,本方法对高阻尼粘弹材料是有效的。

On Hacking's fiducial theory of inference

Fisher's theory of fiducial inference is known to lead to mathematical inconsistencies. Hacking (1965) puts forward a new basis for fiducial inference. In this paper we have presented Hacking's theory retaining his original terminology but replacing his notation by more usual mathematical notation. His condition of irrelevance is derived in an explicit mathematical form, making it more comprehensible to statisticians. Further an example is constructed to show that Hacking's theory also leads to mathematical inconsistencies.     

On the characteristic function of multivariate Student t-distribution

The characteristic function of the multivariate Student t-distribution is obtained, and it is shown that this characteristic function has the pedogogical virtue of reducing the multivariate problem to the analogous univariate problem. Applications of the characteristic function are discussed.
