以引导应用能力为主的《高职计算机文化基础》教学思考

基于当前计算机技术的发展现状和学生的特点,分析高校计算机文化基础课程教学特点以及教学中发现的一些问题,探讨了旨在加强学生素质教育,以引导学生应用能力为目的教学方法中可以改进的几个方面。     

城市农民工随迁子女义务教育政策及其完善：以广东为例

文章分析了广东省农民工随迁子女义务教育改革政策和实施情况。广东省基本实现了农民工随迁子女“人人有书读”，但是，农民工随迁子女入读民办学校的比例依然较高，入读公办学校的歧视依然存在，民办学校的教育质量问题依然存在。农民工随迁子女义务教育问题不能彻底消除，根本原因是没有建立起农民工随迁子女义务教育经费的投入保障机制。     

大学思想政治理论课课堂教学改革新思路

思想政治理论课是大学生思想政治教育的主渠道,而课堂教学在主渠道的畅通中承担着主要的任务。针对课堂教学存在的诸多问题,教学改革尤为迫切。深入调查研究,及时掌握和分析大学生的各种信息是教学改革最为基础性的工作;树立以生为本理念,课堂教学追求多样性实效性是教学改革的外在表现;教书育人,当好大学生健康成长的指导者和引路人则是思想政治理论课教师的根本职责和庄严使命。     

创业教育的评价体系与价值导向

对某一行为进行评价是规范行为主体的目的性、保障行为过程的科学性、实现行为结果的公益性的有力手段。创业教育的评价体系需包含学校、政府与社会这三大主体和以创业教育理念为统领的九大要素。评价的价值导向是要引导并促成由单纯的就业率评价向就业结构、就业质量、创业尝试评价转向,由毕业之时的就业率评价向若干年后的社会贡献评价转向,由家长期盼的评价向学生自我评价转向,由政府主导的评价向社会主导的评价转向。     

Modeling censored data using modified lambda family

In the present article we propose the modified lambda family (MLF) which is the Freimer, Mudholkar, Kollia, and Lin (FMKL) parametrization of generalized lambda distribution (GLD) as a model for censored data. The expressions for probability weighted moments of MLF are derived and used to estimate the parameters of the distribution. We modified the estimation technique using probability weighted moments. It is shown that the distribution provides reasonable fit to a real censored data.

党的十七大报告指出,要将社会主义核心价值体系融入到精神文明教育及国民教育全过程中,并将其转变为人们的自觉追求。在新形势下,贯彻落实十七大精神,坚持社会主义荣辱观,明确思政工作的目标与任务,培养社会主义建设者与接班人,形成中国特色社会主义共同理想,具有深远意义。本文论述了构建中国特色社会主义共同理想思政工作的意义与途径。     

Teaching culture beyond nationalist boundaries: national identities,stereotyping, and culture in language education

The authors take a critical language pedagogy approach to examining a 2011 controversy over disparaging comments towards Mexicans made by commentators of the British Broadcasting Corporation’s automotive show Top Gear. In particular, they focus on the characterization of groups and individuals according to their nationality and examine the ubiquity of nationalism and its ability to shape our conception of culture and in turn our understandings of others as members of ‘X national culture.’ The fact that humor is often a justification for national stereotyping and that these stereotypes are also connected to racist discourse are also explored. In the second part of the article, the implications of the stereotyping debate for language classrooms are considered. The authors argue that the controversy itself can be used as a tool for critical engagement that helps students deconstruct the underlying nationalist paradigm in L2 classrooms and build greater intercultural awareness.

Español: Los autores examinan, desde una perspectiva de la pedagogía crítica del lenguaje, la controversia que surgió en el 2011 debido a los comentarios nocivos hechos hacia los mexicanos por los locutores del show automotriz del BBC, Top Gear. En particular, se enfocan en la caracterización de los grupos e individuos de acuerdo a su nacionalidad, y examinan la ubiquidad del nacionalismo y su capacidad para darle forma a nuestra conceptualización de la cultura y, a su vez, nuestra forma de ver a otros como miembros de una ‘cultural nacional X’. Los autores también exploran el hecho de que a menudo se utiliza el humor como una justificación para los estereotipos nacionales, y que estos estereotipos también están conectados al discurso racista. En la segunda parte del artículo, se consideran las implicaciones para la enseñanza de idiomas del debate sobre los estereotipos. Argumentan los autores que la controversia en sí se puede utilizar como una herramienta para promover una postura crítica que ayude a los alumnos a deconstruir el paradigma subyacente del nacionalismo en el salón de lenguas extranjeras y fomente la conciencia intercultural.     

美国《双语教育法》颁布的社会背景研究——基于霍姆斯的四模式分析框架

在美国的中小学校除英语之外讲各种语言的学生,或者说那些不会讲英语的学生,他们的教育需求长期得不到妥善的解决。1968年颁布的《双语教育法》表明,美国联邦政府承认了美国学校体制中长期存在的只能使用英语教学的单语教学问题,如何使教学语言多样性是一个亟待解决的核心问题。以霍姆斯的四模式为分析框架,把颁布《双语教育法》时纷繁复杂的社会背景置于规范模式、组织制度模式、精神状态模式和自然环境模式中进行分析,结果显示:(1)移民人口剧增并逐步扩展到新的区域,给美国公立学校造成了巨大压力;(2)司法判例对所实施的隔离但平等原则的彻底否定催生了新的希望;(3)少数族裔群体谴责主流社会的不公平,他们要求身份认同和获得更多权利的呼声愈来愈大;(4)联邦政府对保障国防安全、消除贫困现象等多重利益的考量,促成了《双语教育法》的颁布。     

‘I'm not a family therapist. OK?’ Working Constructively with Families in Aged Psychiatry

This paper reports on the first phase of a larger study aimed at investigating factors hindering family work and exploring ways to improve the amount and quality of family contact within a community aged mental health service in Melbourne, Australia. During the first phase of the project, 28 mental health professionals were interviewed about their views and experiences. Interviews were transcribed, coded, and analysed in terms of repeating themes. The range of attitudes, beliefs and feelings about family work is summarised in this paper. Polarities emerged around questions of whether or not to engage family members, and if so, what function family work fulfils. The interviews also provided useful information on clinicians' beliefs about what would increase the possibility of family work. The paper concludes with a discussion about how to recognize and value family work in this area and target sustainable interventions during the second phase of the study.
