中国CO2排放变动的结构因素分析——一个包含贸易结构的分解模型

利用投入产出方法测算出2002-2007年度中国隐含碳排放总量和分部门的排放量,并应用结构分解法研究了排放强度、生产技术、国内需求结构、贸易结构和经济规模五个因素对隐含碳排放变动的影响.研究结果表明,排放强度和国内需求结构的变动是碳排放量减少的主要原因,生产技术、贸易结构和经济规模对碳排放量的增加有显著影响.从部门结构上看,贸易结构因素反映了中国对外贸易分布特征的变化,与其他影响因素相比贸易结构的变迁对碳排放量的影响最小;另外,虽然直接碳排强度明显下降,但受碳排强度因素和生产技术因素共同影响的完全碳排强度却几乎没有变化,反映出能源政策在各部门的实际效果受到生产技术的影响.     

Thirty-Five Years After Stonewall: An Exploratory Study of Satisfaction with Police Among Gay,Lesbian, and Bisexual Persons at the 34th Annual Atlanta Pride Festival

ABSTRACT

The gay rights movement began in the summer of 1969 when gay men rioted against police for raiding a bar known as the Stonewall Inn. In the succeeding 35 years, very little research has explored the relationship between police organizations and gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered (GLBT) communities. The purpose of this study is to describe the attitudes that GLBT persons currently hold toward police. Subjects were sampled from the 34th Annual Atlanta Pride Festival and asked to complete a self-administered questionnaire. Of the 179 GLBT participants, the vast majority reported high satisfaction with community policing practices at this event. Moreover, age, household income, victimization, security presence, and identification with gay-themed media significantly predicted attitudes toward police.

欧姆形对称型双螺杆的参数化建模与数值模态分析

针对已有螺杆型线方程参数化建模过程复杂、时间长的问题。根据型线的设计原则与要求,利用坐标系转换,构 建了一种易于参数化建模且密封性、啮合性好的欧姆(Q)形对称型端面型线方程,方程的滚圆相对于节圆的公转角￡,根 据螺杆传动几何关系推导并界定范围;以Visual Basic程序设计语言为开发工具,三维软件SolidWorks为二次开发平台, 实现了螺旋套的参数化实体建模;建立了螺杆的固有特性分析模型,用ANSYS软件对螺杆的轴承处进行了刚性与弹性 约束下的模态分析,并考虑了不同的弹性单元刚度对固有频率的影响。结果表明：弹性约束下螺杆的固有频率明显降 低,2种约束下的振型一致,弹性单元的刚度对弹性约束下的固有频率没有影响。文中研究为双螺杆泵型线改进设计及 螺杆模态分析提供理论依据,大大提高设计效率

基于NK模型的学科结构复杂性研究

学科以结构形式而存在,结构是学科之间本质关系的一种反映,学科之间的差别根源在于学科结构,学科结构决定了学科的创新行为,并最终使具有不同结构的学科绩效呈现较大的差异.学科结构指学科内部的基本组成单元-科技创新元之间的交互作用方式,将学科结构分为6种,以影响矩阵的形式表达出来,并围绕"什么样的学科结构会带来更高的学科绩效"等问题,提出了学科结构的复杂性分析框架,利用NK模型对学科结构与学科绩效之间的关系进行了模拟仿真,得出了若干有益的结论.     

The Changing Valuation of Dogs1

In recent decades, the United States has witnessed profound changes in the sociocultural valuation of dogs, variously described as humanization, sentimentalization, or sacralization. A broad look at this “sacralization” of dogs in the United States reveals that this changing valuation has altered dogs’ place within economic processes. In particular, these changes parallel Viviana Zelizer’s work on the changing valuation of children a century ago. In this article, we further specify Zelizer’s insights by arguing that these accompanying economic transformations are best understood as shifting of a dogs’ place within budgetary units: from objects for human consumption to fellow actors humans consume with and around.     

Conjoint effects of interacting strategy-making processes and lines of defense practices in strategic Risk Management: An empirical study

The ability to contain adverse effects of major risks under turbulent conditions and exploit the opportunities they present are fundamental concerns in strategic management and various institutions promote enterprise risk management (ERM) to deal with these challenges. Yet, our knowledge about how ERM affects performance and interacts with corporate strategy-making processes is limited. The ERM frameworks impose first and second lines of defense practices to integrate business operations and corporate risk oversight. Emergent strategies generate responsive initiatives and strategic planning coordinates updated actions. Hence, this study analyzes the conjoint effects of these ERM practices and strategy-making processes based on a large corporate sample and finds that ERM practices depend on strategy-making to attain effective risk outcomes. The application of ERM frameworks can, therefore, not be assessed in isolation, but must consider corporate strategy-making. This has implications for the way we conduct research on strategic risk management, how executives approach risk oversight and policy-makers impose formal risk governance requirements.     

Relative efficienctes of sampling plans for selecting a small number of units from a rectangular region

We examine the efficiency of several sampling plans for use in certain agricultural, ecological and environmental studies. One concern for such studies is that plots that arephysically close might be more similar than distant plots. We considered sampling plansthat are designed to generate samples that represent the entire population while avoidingthe selection of units that provide essentially redundant information. All plans havethe property that they avoid the simultaneous selection of units that are, in some sense,neighboring units. By means of a simulation study, the efficiency of these plans iscompared to simple random Aampling Factors that influence the relative efficiencies areexamined. This is done for a number of different populations, representing variouspossible patterns for a response variable.
