原版电影听说教学中交际法的渗透

就交际法理论而言,把文化因素和社会因素融会到交际情景中去是外语教学的一个难题.利用真实的视听材料如原版电影安排教学活动,较好地解决了师生教与学中部分教材学习情境的创设问题,丰富了学习情境,为师生教学提供了强有力的支持和服务.由某一话题入手,对影片中出现的语言信息加工处理,用交际性任务来组织课堂教学,使电影、语言素材、教学活动以及涉及到的文化知识、情感态度等有机地融合于教学的整个过程.     

The contribution of the psychosocial work environment to sickness absence in human service workers: Results of a 3-year follow-up study

We investigated to what extent psychosocial work characteristics predict sickness absence in a cohort of 890 human service professionals (84% women), followed-up for 3 years. We measured 16 different psychosocial work characteristics at baseline and analysed their associations with number of sickness absence days at follow-up using multivariate Poisson regression. In addition, we computed a psychosocial work environment index, summarizing eight psychosocial scales. Participants with exposure to violence and threats, high emotional demands, high demands for hiding emotions, low influence at work, low meaning of work, low quality of management, and role conflicts had an increased number of sickness absence days at follow-up, after adjustment for numerous confounders. Adjusting for sickness absence history caused little change in most effect estimates. Scoring in the most adverse quartile of the psychosocial work environment index was associated with a 71% increase in sickness absence days. Improving the psychosocial work environment index and eliminating exposure to violence and threats would have prevented 32% of all sickness absence days in the study population. In particular we found that exposure to violence was a strong predictor of absence. This study shows that a wide range of psychosocial work characteristics contribute to sickness absence in human service workers. Improving the psychosocial work environment might help to reduce sickness absence in this population.

Are girls more than boys subjected to disrupted conditions of upbringing?

Basing findings on data from the longitudinal programme Individual Development and Adaptation (IDA; n = 1383) it was found to be twice as common for girls to have been subjected to problematic upbringing conditions as for boys (here defined by experiencing major changes with regard to the child's caregivers; i.e. not just one parental divorce). This characterized 7.4% of the girls and 3.5% of the boys, a highly significant difference. A simple count of the number of parental transitions a child had been subjected to during upbringing also showed a sex difference in the same direction. As expected, girls with such disrupted upbringing showed adjustment problems during the school years, especially with regard to hyperactivity-related behaviours and conduct problems. The corresponding group of boys showed less pronounced adjustment problems. The generalizability of the results are discussed and tentative explanations presented for the sex differences that were found.     

Exploring Gay Male Erotic Art: An Interview with Edward Lucie-Smith

The last twenty-five years have seen the emergence of a transnational gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender (GLBT)/queer cultural movement unprecedented historically in its scope and openness. This interview with British art historian and critic Edward Lucie-Smith examines the role of gay male erotic art and film within that movement. Taking its start from the centrality of same-sex sexual orientation to the sense of gay identity and the importance of erotic art in validating that identity, it explores the historical, psychological, and social significance of a branch of visual art that until recent decades was not even acknowledged to exist, much less considered an appropriate subject of scholarly interest. By discussing gay male erotic art within a serious art-historical context, the article aims at providing a framework for examining the topic more systematically within the GLBT/queer studies domain.     

Structural Nested Models and Standard Software: A Mathematical Foundation through Partial Likelihood

Abstract.  In observational studies treatment may be adapted to the patient's state during the course of time. These covariates may in turn also react on the treatment under study, and so on. This makes it hard to distinguish between treatment effect and selection bias. Structural nested models aim at estimating treatment effect in such complicated situations, even when treatment may change at any time. We show that structural nested models can often be calculated with standard software, by using standard models to predict treatment as a tool to estimate treatment effect. Robins ( Survival analysis, Volume 6 of Encyclopedia of Biostatistics , John Wiley and Sons, Chichester, 1998) conjectured this, but so far it was unproven. We use a partial likelihood approach to choose the estimators and tests as a subclass of the estimators and tests in Lok (math. ST/0410271 at http://arXiv.org , 2004). We show that this is the class of estimators and tests that can be calculated with standard software. The estimators are consistent and asymptotically normal, and have interesting asymptotic properties.     

基于BP人工神经网络的磨料水射流切割深度模型

在已知的磨料水射流切割混凝土实验数据的基础上,应用BP人工神经网络理论,并且借助MATLAB神经网络工具箱,建立磨料水射流切割深度模型.模型中包括的射流参数有射流压力、靶距、磨料粒径、磨料流量、磨料喷嘴直径、磨料喷嘴长度及横移速度.通过模型预测结果与实验结果的比较,表明模型具有一定的精度.

中国少数民族题材电影发展刍议

在多元文化盛行的今天,少数民族题材电影的发展现状不容乐观。本文在对照20世纪五六十年代少数民族电影辉煌的基础上,认为当下的少数民族题材电影只有在突出自己特色的基础上,借助类型电影的创作手法,积极走市场化的道路,才能再铸少数民族题材电影的辉煌。     

自然保护区禁伐令的探析——以天目山国家自然保护区为例

自然保护区禁伐令时保护生物多样性有着积极的意义，但其一刀切做法，使得天目山等生物多样性受到威胁的保护区备受法律困扰。通过分析天目山案例中出现的实际情况，根据森林生态学原理，提出修改自然保护区禁伐令的法律程序和法律规定。修改禁伐令后将会给自然保护区提供经费支持，增加当地农民收入，改善景区景观。
