新"轴心时代"的文明对话--论杜维明的"文明对话"观

亨廷顿"文明的冲突"理论一发表,在世界上就引起了很大反响.从一定意义上来说,杜维明的"文明对话"观是对这一思潮反映的产物.杜维明的"文明对话"观主要包含三个方面作为当代新儒家的主要代表,他通过对亨廷顿的"文明冲突"论的批评,揭示了文明对话的时代内涵;第二,他主要借助于雅斯培尔斯"轴心时代"理论,通过时启蒙反思和多元现代性论域的开展,论证了新轴心时代文明对话的可能性和必要性;最后,主要讨论文明对话的三种形态,指出新轴心时代文明对话的一些基本预设.     

抗战爆发:中国20世纪文学史上的重要分界线

本文认为 ,抗战爆发是中国 2 0世纪文学史上一个很重要的分界线 ,此后 ,中国文学开始了一个很长的“共名”时期 (这个时期的下限尚有待确定 )。论文同时指出 ,鲁迅去世与抗战爆发在时间上几近重合 ,是这一分界能够成立的关键 :这一重合直接标志了战前新文学的某种精神的终结

第三届全国青年史学工作者学术会议是世纪之交全国青年史学工作者的盛会。会上 ,代表们就 2 0世纪中国史学回顾、2 1世纪中国史学走向、历史学的定位及功能等问题展开了热烈地讨论 ,精彩纷呈。与会学者在中国古代史、中国近现代史、世界史等领域的一些专门问题上也发表了饱含深邃智慧的见解。     

Semiparametric inference of proportional odds model based on randomly truncated data

This paper studies the estimation in the proportional odds model based on randomly truncated data. The proposed estimators for the regression coefficients include a class of minimum distance estimators defined through weighted empirical odds function. We have investigated the asymptotic properties like the consistency and the limiting distribution of the proposed estimators under mild conditions. The finite sample properties were investigated through simulation study making comparison of some of the estimators in the class. We conclude with an illustration of our proposed method to a well-known AIDS data.     

20世纪后半期中国古代经济史资料的整理与出版

中国经济史学科形成于20世纪上半期,对经济史资料的搜求和整理工作也很快开始进行,但大规模的资料整理汇编工作则是在中华人民共和国成立以后.本文从三个方面对20世纪后半期中国古代经济史资料的整理与汇编情况作了综合回顾与考察.     

Are people in the South less intelligent than in the North? IQ and the North–South disparity in Italy

Socioeconomic disparity between North and South Italy has been recently explained by Lynn (2010) as the result of a lower intelligence quotient (IQ) of the Southern population. The present article discusses the procedure followed by Lynn, supplementing his data with new information on school assessments and per head regional income. Genetic North–South differences are then discussed on the basis of the most recent literature on the subject. The results do not confirm the suggested IQ-economy causal link.

Empirical likelihood for a partially linear model with covariate data missing at random

In this paper, we consider the partial linear model with the covariables missing at random. Empirical likelihood ratios for the regression coefficients and the baseline function are investigated, the empirical log-likelihood ratios are proven to be asymptotically chi-squared and the corresponding confidence regions for the parameters of interest are then constructed. The finite sample behavior of the proposed method is evaluated with simulation and illustrated with an AIDS clinical trial dataset.

20世纪中国发生了三次历史性巨变 :即辛亥革命 ,推翻君主专制制度 ;新中国的成立和社会主义制度的建立 ;改革开放 ,为实现社会主义现代化而奋斗。三次巨变围绕“振兴中华”这一主题展开 ,生动地再现了历史运动的继承与发展关系
