本土景观的现代转型--以上海市松江区方塔园为例

随着城市建设和城乡一体化进程的加速,在全球化的浪潮中保持本土特色而又不失现代性的景观日益引起人们的关注。方塔园融古典于现代,丰富乡土的含义,在本土文化的时代局限中注入了现代主义的全新含义,是现代中国本土景观营造史上最早、最典型的案例代表。对比国内外学者对本土景观与乡土景观理解的异同,从批判的现代性、场所精神、建构3方面分析方塔园的本土意象,最后结合当代本土景观、建筑中的典型案例,分析并总结本土景观现代化转型的基本对策。     

Resilience? Contested meanings and experiences in post-disaster Christchurch,New Zealand

The purpose of this paper is to improve understanding of the relationship between sense of place and community resilience, two concepts described and defined differently reflecting different disciplinary research, policies and practices. We draw on international literature that has focused on the interrelationship between these concepts in the context of natural disasters, as well as the findings of a multidisciplinary project in the post-earthquake Christchurch recovery context. We describe how we developed indicators of resilience linked to sense of place as it relates to home, neighbourhood and the city, including place-based social interaction and the role of scientific and technical information. Through integrating literature with the findings from project interviews and a survey, we offer new ways of considering ‘resilience’ and we discuss the implications of our findings for not just the Christchurch recovery, but for future response and recovery to natural disasters throughout New Zealand.     

论钟评《刘文成公全集》

刘基诗文集版本较多,情况复杂,虽有人曾对此做过专门研究,但钟惺所评辑《刘文成公全集》一书,研究者却未能给予应有的重视①。钟、刘之文在思想情趣及表现形式上迥异,但钟惺在评点《刘文成公全集》时,不置一贬语、极端推崇刘基之文。通过对《刘文成公全集》一书评点内容与钟惺文论主张、思想观点之比较,同时对坊间托名钟惺情况之探讨,可以得出这样的结论题名钟惺评辑《刘文成公全集》一书,其评点者并非钟惺。     

清代三姓地区农业经济的兴起与发展

三姓地区是黑龙江省农业开发较早的地区之一,也是清代赫哲族农业最早兴起的地方.作为新兴的社会经济因素--农业在三姓地区获得了持续的发展,有力地推动和促进了东北边防的巩固,并对赫哲族社会进步产生了重大而深远的影响.     

说甲骨文中的蜀国地望

甲骨文中的“蜀”,学者多谓此即古代巴蜀之蜀。然四川成都平原上的古蜀国与中原相距遥远,殷商时代考古文化面貌亦与中原相异,不像是甲骨文中与殷商王朝联系颇为紧密的蜀方国。通过对文献和商周甲骨金文的深入研究表明,殷周甲骨金文所见之蜀当在今河南长葛市,与四川成都平原上的古蜀国并非一事。     

Living in a nation,a state or a place? The Protestant gentry of County Cork

The communal narrative of the Irish state defined the criteria for membership of the nation in opposition to the characteristics of the Irish gentry class, whether in their Protestantism, Anglicised lifestyles or external focus on Britain and its empire. The result ensured that while all Protestants engaged with the institutions of state, their inclusion in the nation proved much more difficult to negotiate, and for those with a gentry background, it would appear an impossibility. This article argues, in contrast, that the remnants of the Protestant gentry class successfully insert themselves into an alternative conception of the Irish nation that draws directly upon the longevity of their family association with specific localities in the Irish landscape.     

The Difficult History of Ancillary Units: The Obstacles and Potential Opportunities to Increase the Heterogeneity of Neighborhoods and the Flexibility of Households in the United States

ABSTRACT

Most aging Americans express the desire to stay in their current home for the rest of their lives. However, as literature and practice indicate, aging in place cannot be successfully achieved in all places, especially in those places where zoning regulations and building codes act as barriers to the flexible adaptation of environments. One possible solution could come from the legalization of what is commonly known as granny flats, or more technically as Ancillary Dwelling Units. This article is divided into three parts. The first part is a brief history of Ancillary Dwelling Units. The second part focuses on the critical role played by local and state urban planning policies in the future of Ancillary Dwelling Units. California is used as a noteworthy example. The third part discusses how positive outcomes for senior residents who have Ancillary Dwelling Units legally present in their neighborhoods are linked to the appropriateness of their design.     

论《管子·水地》篇水本原思想与古希腊水本原思想的区别

《管子·水地》篇提出了＂水是万物的本原和生命之源＂的观点,又把水道德化,主张以水施行教化。古希腊哲学家泰勒斯也有＂水是万物本原＂的主张,认为一切事物都是由水产出来的。两种水本原哲学思想在不同的时代以及不同的地区产生,它们之间有相同的地方,但更多的却是结合各自时代与地理因素而形成的不同之处。     

An Evaluation of Behavioral Health Compliance and Microbial Risk Factors on Student Populations Within a High-Density Campus

Abstract

Objective: The aim of this Canadian study was to assess student behavioral response to disease transmission risk, while identifying high microbial deposition/transmission sites. Participants: A student survey was conducted during October 2009. Methods: The methods included a survey of students to assess use of health services, vaccination compliance, and hygiene along with a microbial analysis of potential transmission sites targeting specific residence buildings on campus. Results: Results indicated that most students maintained that they were worried about H1N1 and reported making changes in hygienic behavior, with the majority not planning to be vaccinated. The microbial analysis indicated contamination of fomites in co-ed residences to be higher than either male or female student residences. Conclusions: A consideration of physical space along with behavioral factors is required in order to properly assess risk pathways in the establishment of an evidence-based infection control plan for universities and their contiguous communities.
