19世纪传教士在华的翻译出版活动不能简单地以文化殖民的模式对之加以评判,其实他们的部分文化活动在客观上促进了中国文化事业的进步.他们翻译出版了大量的书籍,客观上不仅促进了中国自然科学的发展,而且还为中国翻译学的发展积累了经验,在很大程度上导致了中国近代小说文体的兴起.     

微博问政、治理转型与“零碎社会工程”

中国“网坛”,微博崛起.由特殊国情决定,问政、议政甚至“参政”成为中国微博的一种主要功能.微博问政恰与中国所处的微观转型期相吻合,这就是“治理转型”,二者有着高度的对应重合性.如借鉴波普尔“零碎社会工程”理论,又会发现在“微博问政”、“治理转型”和“零碎社会工程”三者之间,隐然有一种内在的逻辑联系.“微博问政”、“治理转型”,是现象层面的呈现,“零碎社会工程”则是从思想高度对其给予了理论上的概括,有一定的针对性和启发意义.     

Class, Culture, and Participation in the Collegiate Extra-Curriculum

With larger percentages of high school students entering higher education, it becomes increasingly important to look at how processes occurring on college campuses contribute to social stratification. Using in‐depth interviews with 61 students, I ask: How does social class structure students’ participation in the collegiate extra‐curriculum? I argue that the collegiate extra‐curriculum is an important site for stratification because it is there that students gain access to social and cultural resources valued by the privileged classes. I find that upper‐middle‐class students arrive on campus with cultural resources that motivate their participation and social resources that facilitate their involvement. Among working‐class students, limited financial factors constrain their involvement, while social and cultural resources further curtail their interest in such activities. These findings contribute to theories of social and cultural reproduction by showing that those who have more valued social and cultural resources at the outset are in a better position to gain additional such resources throughout their college careers. Moreover, these analyses show that symbolic and cultural hierarchies are sustained by the interdependent relationship between social and cultural capital.

大学生社团管理刍议

大学生社团是高校校园文化的重要组成部分 ,在学生成才过程中有着不可取代的作用。但有关方面目前对其研究较少 ,管理上也存在诸如认识偏差、结构失衡等问题。应该提高认识、健全制度、倡导科研和利用好网络工具 ,充分发挥大学生社团在育人方面应有的作用。     

Are there advantages to seeing leadership the same? A test of the mediating effects of LMX on the relationship between ILT congruence and employees' development

Although there has been an increased interest in implicit leadership theories (ILTs) over the last two decades, only a handful of studies have examined the effects of ILT congruence among leader-follower dyads. Just as important, this research has largely suggested few effects for ILT congruence, focused exclusively on prototype congruence, examined a limited number of potential outcomes, and has failed to examine questions about ILT congruence utilizing the most appropriate statistical approaches. We examine the effects of ILT congruence, with an explicit focus on the possibility that congruence between supervisors and their employees on both prototypes and antiprototypes impacts the LMX developed within their dyads. We predict that LMX, in turn, affects employees' opportunities to engage in developmental activities. Using a sample of 74 matched pairs of supervisors and employees and polynomial regression and response surface methodology, we found that congruence between supervisors' and employees' prototypes positively influenced LMX. We also found limited evidence that LMX explained the effects of this congruence on employees' engagement in developmental activities. Although we found no evidence of antiprototype congruence effects, supervisors who rated antiprototypical traits as characteristic of leaders had lower LMX with their employees.

本文在实地调查所得语料的基础上，从结构类型、语义特点、语法功能等方面对湖南耒阳汉语方言中一种特殊的形容词生动形式——“AAB崽”做了全面的共时描写和分析，以期从一个侧面为汉语形态学的建立提供方言材料佐证。     

Green Care Farms Promote Activity Among Elderly People With Dementia

In the Netherlands, an increasing number of green care farms are providing day care to community-dwelling elderly people with dementia. Currently, it is unknown whether activities, activity participation, and facility use of elderly people with dementia at green care farms differ from those at regular day care facilities. The authors performed group and individual observations at 11 green care farms and 12 regular day care facilities. Activities of elderly people at green care farms were more frequent, occurred outdoors more often, were of a higher physical intensity, and more often were aimed at individuals than activities at regular day care facilities. Therefore, the green care farms’ environment may be more beneficial for elderly people with dementia than the regular day care facility environment.
