“道德教化”论的基本观点和趋向是忽视法律 及其作用。道德具有能够相对脱离现实生活的纯粹性、崇高性和圣洁性，但也具有流动性、 易变性和不可控性等缺陷。对主体的基本道德规范的形成来说，法律因其相对稳定性、一般 性、普遍适用性和拥有国家强制力的可靠保证而使其力量和作用更加强大和突出。我们应注 重包括道德教化在内的道德建设，但必须警惕“泛道德主义”倾向的发生。

普通话零声母w音v读现象普遍。通过调查得出结论:北方方言区有38%左右的人w音v读,其他方言区为10%左右。可见,北方方言区w音v读现象比其他方言区普遍。分析其特征及形成原因,我们发现v这种唇齿擦音其实是半元音w的一种变体。它的形成受前后音素不同音位上的口形变化的影响,也与个人的发音习惯及发音的不稳定性密不可分。北方方言区之所以v读现象普遍,与其发音时口腔与面部运动较强有关,而其他方言区口腔运动相对较弱则减少了v读现象的出现。

A linear algebraic algorithm for reducing the support size of t-designs and to generate a basis for trades

A simple linear algebraic algorithm to generate a basis of the null space of a given integral matrix is utilized to present a computer algorithm, which in general, is used to reduce the support size of a given design as in a theorem of FoodyHedayat (Theorem 4.1, 1977), and in particular, it is used to produce a basis for trades. The computations based on this algorithm is of order of a polynomial function.     

An algorithn for generating a basis of the trades on t-designs

For the purpose of constructing t-designs (a special family of incomplete block designs) from a given design, a trade off method has been introduced and studied [Hedayat and Li (1979)]. In this paper, we present a computer algorithm for generating a basis of the trades on t-designs utilizing the results of Graham, Li and Li (1980).     

On multivariate weighted distributions

The concept of weighted distributions is well-known in the literature concerning observational studies and surveys in research related to forestry, ecology, bio-medicine and many other areas (cf. Rao (1965)). This paper extends the idea of weighted distributions to multivariate case. A few multivariate orderings have been defined and some partial ordering results are presented. Some results regarding multivariate positive and negative dependence are also discussed. Multivariate weighted distributions - joint, marginal and conditional have been defined and some important results concerning them are presented along with an illustration. The Multivariate Poisson Negative Hypergeometric Distribution has been derived.     

On the estimation of homogeneous population size from a complex dual-record system

ABSTRACT

A dual-record system (DRS) (equivalently two sample capture–recapture experiments) model, with time and behavioural response variation, has attracted much attention specifically in the domain of official statistics and epidemiology, as the assumption of list independence often fails. The relevant model suffers from parameter identifiability problem, and suitable Bayesian methodologies could be helpful. In this article, we formulate population size estimation in DRS as a missing data problem and two empirical Bayes approaches are proposed along with the discussion of an existing Bayes treatment. Some features and associated posterior convergence for these methods are mentioned. Investigation through an extensive simulation study finds that our proposed approaches compare favourably with the existing Bayes approach for this complex model depending upon the availability of directional nature of underlying behavioural response effect. A real-data example is given to illustrate these methods.
