高职口腔工艺专业课程设置的比较

随着经济的发展 ,人们对于牙齿健康状况和美容提出了更高要求。而目前我国从业的牙科技工大部分缺乏正规系统的教育培训 ,现有的牙科技工培养基本采用的是牙科医师的培养模式 ,缺乏正规的技工学教材和实习讲义。因此 ,提高我国牙科技工培养教学水平势在必行。美国、日本牙科技工教学的新进展对我国牙科技工教学有很大的启示。我国应该借鉴国外牙科技工教育的经验加强师资队伍建设 ,从实习基地建设及课程设置入手进行教学改革 ,探索适合我国口腔工艺专业人才培养道路。     

Oral diagnostics: an integral component to geriatric health care

Abstract

Aging is inevitable, every day we live we age. The mouth is referred to as a mirror of overall health, reinforcing that oral health is an integral part of general health. Oral health reflects overall well being for the elderly population. Compromised oral health may be a risk factor for systemic diseases commonly occurring in age. Diagnosis and proper treatment is essential for healthy aging. Timely diagnosis, appropriate treatment and regular follow-up of both oral and systemic diseases are a prerequisite for active aging. Oral diagnostics is a revolutionary development with high potential to replace other investigative modalities. Changing demographics, including the increase in life expectancy and the growing numbers of elderly, has focused attention on the need for dental research activities to be expanded for geriatric dentistry. This paper is aimed to shed light on the growing elderly population and their ailments. It also aims to create awareness among health care providers about oral diagnostics and their application in geriatrics.     

Is the trend to publish reviews and clinical trials related to the journal impact factor? Analysis in dentistry field

ABSTRACT

It is generally accepted that the Journal Impact Factor is a quality criterion. The objective was to determine the evolution along the period 2010–2016 of number of different types of papers, reviews and clinical trials, published by dental journals, as well as if they are related with the quartile occupied in the Journal Impact Factor 2017 ranking. To this end, ten journals per quartile belonging to the field Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Medicine in the 2017 Journal Citation Reports were randomly selected. For each journal and year, the total number of narrative reviews, systematic reviews (with and without meta-analysis), meta-analysis, clinical trials and randomized controlled trials were obtained from Pubmed. To achieve our goal, the slope of these variables over time was estimated using the least squares method, after which one-way analysis of variance of mean values was performed. In Dentistry, the journals of the top quartiles show a trend to publish increasing amounts of systematic reviews and meta-analysis, than the ones of the third and fourth quartile. On the other hand, globally, there was virtually no increase in narrative reviews, clinical trials and randomized controlled trial. Possible causes of this behavior are also discussed in this article.     

儿童牙科畏惧症心理分析及对策

牙科畏惧症是指在牙科诊治过程中紧张、害怕、抑郁等心理状态,在行为上表现为敏感性增高,耐受性降低,躲避或拒绝治疗的现象。儿童是一种特殊的群体,心理发育不成熟,理解力、自制力较差,在牙科治疗中,儿童牙科畏惧症发生率比较高。本文对本门诊口腔科近两年185名6～12岁儿童就诊时表现出的畏惧心理作了分析并提出对策。     

观念与行为的差异与融合——以近代中国的牙齿疾病为中心

鸦片战争之后,西方牙科学伴随着其他西方现代医学传入中国,逐渐改变着国人的牙齿疾病观念,并提供了一种与传统中国医学差异显著的牙病治疗方式。由于传统知识与社会环境的制约,人们依然较多的忽视牙病治疗,观念与行为呈现出特别明显的差异。但是,在对“健康”的不懈追求下,观念与行为依然实现着差异的整合,并逐渐完成了多种观念与行为并存的社会生态定型。     

TMJ-Dysfunction Symptoms among Finnish University Students

Abstract

“Recurrent Vaginal and Cervical Ulcers Associated With Tampon Use,” Steven M. Weissberg, Melvin G. Dodson. Three cases of recurrent vaginal and cervical ulcers were associated with tampon use. We review the diagnosis, treatment, and management and discuss the possible etiologic mechanisms. Prevention of recurrent ulceration may be best approached by discontinuation of tampon use.
