早期马克思主义史学家对中国传统史学的研究与新史学的创建

20世纪二、三十年代，以社会史论战为主要学术背景，早期马克思主义史学家通过对中国古代史和传统史学的研究，不仅巩固和扩大了马克思主义的影响，对中国共产党领导的新民主主义革命给予了重要的理论支持，而且在史学理论方面有重大突破，逐步构筑起一个新的史学研究体系，初步奠定了中国马克思主义史学的基础。同时，它还开创了以马克思主义为指导建立一个新学科的先例，为后来马克思主义在整个学术界指导思想地位的确立积累了重要的实践经验。     

云南方志的价值及其开发利用

本文简要介绍了云南最重要的几种方志,对云南方志的五个特征:地方性、广泛性、资料性、真实性与民族性进行了论述,分析了云南志的价值,并讨论了开发利用情况。     

白寿彝先生和《史学概论》

白寿彝先生主编的《史学概论》的显著特点在于:对历史唯物主义同史学概论的关系,史学遗产同史学概论的关系,近代史学、马克思主义史学同史学概论的关系等,都有深刻的理解和恰当的处置,具有科学研究和教学实践的参考价值。

全球化已经成为不可抗拒的客观现实 ,任何一个民族在享有全球化所带来的巨大好处的同时 ,必然承受随之而来的伤害和痛苦。本文从爱国主义教育在全球化背景下面临的挑战的分析入手 ,提出了爱国主义教育在全球化背景下如何进一步加强并突出时代特征的新思路     

《马丁·路德年谱》的编撰与中西史学融合的路径

1517年,马丁·路德发动宗教改革,改变了西方的历史,同时备受争议。西方学术界对路德已经进行深入的研究,出版了很多传记和编年著作,但目前仍缺乏一部完全按年月日的时间顺序展现路德生平和著作及宗教改革的背景与过程的著作,即使如最权威的《路德全集》魏玛版也没有按原计划贯彻完全按时间排列路德著作的理念。本文提出,可以尝试用逐年逐月逐日地将背景、生平和著作年表与概要结合起来的中国传统史学方法———年谱来解决这个问题。本文将阐述编撰《马丁·路德年谱》的结构和方法,从而探索中西史学融合的新路径。     

The origins and nature of American nationalism

This article critically analyzes the origins and nature of American nationalism. The first part examines the historiographical debate on the question in what period the formation of an American national identity occurred, i.e. before or after the American Revolution. The second part is concerned with the nature of American nationalism, casting doubt on the claim that American nationalism is exceptional, i.e. inherently different and morally superior to other nationalisms. It refutes the exceptionalist claim by applying recent findings in European nationalism research to the American case and by reinterpreting American nationalism not as an introspective phenomenon but as a demarcation process.     

The Critical Theorist's Labour: Empirical or Philosophical Historiography for International Relations?

Abstract

Robert Cox developed a potent approach to studying world orders that is premised on the capacities of a special intellectual, the critical theorist, to discern social structures and the possibilities for their radical change in the future. While acknowledging the ethical appeal of adopting this intellectual persona, in this paper we are concerned with the style of historiography that it requires. In particular, we argue that the imperative to discover and foster the beginnings of social change leads to a version of philosophical history that will likely produce systematic anachronism. This is not uncommon in the discipline of International Relations, but in the case of Cox it stands in tension with some of his avowed intellectual sources, especially the work of Giambattista Vico, and with the aim of providing critical historical perspective on the present. We argue that Vico stands as an example of an alternative historical-empirical line of research that would better serve Coxian ambitions.     

学术考辨与文史涵养不可或缺——兼与王辉斌先生商榷

学术研究是严肃而审慎的工作,凡从事者均宜黾勉以求博学、审问、慎思、明辨,不可因自身文史涵养的欠缺而出现常识性的错谬。文章撮举部分唐代文学研究著述因缺乏文史涵养而致误之例,分为不谙史实、不谙称谓、不谙校雠、不谙典制、不谙物候、不谙文体、不谙格律、不谙词义、不谙地理、不谙历算十类,以供参酌戒鉴。     

Reconsidering the corporate narrative in U.S. PR history: A critique of Alfred Chandler's influence on PR historiography

This study explores the influence and dominance of Alfred Chandler Jr.’s theory of corporate development within public relations [PR] history. Chandler's work on late 19th Century corporate development is influential in PR historiography. PR oftentimes places its genesis in the late 19th Century corporate sphere to distance itself from press agentry. Examining critiques of Chandler's work on corporate development, this study argues that rooting PR in a corporate context does not provide legitimacy to PR practice and skews PR history to favor a corporate narrative. Implications for both history and normative PR theory development are discussed.

斌椿的日记《乘槎笔记》和诗集《海国胜游草》、《天外归帆草》突破了近代史书写的一贯"以西律中"的现代化话语模式。这一方面可以从满族/中国这一本土坐标看待近代中西交流史的这桩公案;另一方面也可以反思体用二元割裂的思考方式。
