统计方法运用于历史研究,不仅是知识领域的跨界合作,更是西方社会科学与中国历史传统交流碰撞的产物。统计入史有着不可更张的先天基因,不仅统计表与我国史表形式相近,而且统计材料翔实确切的要求与我国史学“记史求真”的传统相吻合。梁启超率先提出历史统计学这一概念,这不仅与他个人好制史表的个人习惯有关,同时也与他主动汲取先进治史理念有关,更重要的是受其业师康有为的影响。统计入史后,在民国时期社会经济史研究领域多有提倡与实践。统计入史为整理史料与研究问题提供了新方法。自此,数字与图表结合的历史书写方式常出没于史籍之中,史学的数字人文显示出强大的生命力。 相似文献

自十九大报告提出"习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想"以来,学者们从形成背景、理论渊源、发展历程、逻辑内涵、重大意义等维度,对其进行了多个层面的研究阐释,取得了比较丰硕的研究成果,为今后贯彻落实这一思想提供了重要基础。但是仍需看到,由于这一思想正式提出时间不长,学者们研究时间有限,现有研究成果难免存在一些不足之处,主要有四个方面:整体性研究有待提高,实证研究有待加强,跨学科研究有待拓宽,国际视野有待扩展。 相似文献

In realist evaluation, where researchers aim to make program theories explicit, they can encounter competing explanations as to how programs work. Managing explanatory tensions from different sources of evidence in multi-stakeholder projects can challenge external evaluators, especially when access to pertinent data, like client records, is mediated by program stakeholders. In this article, we consider two central questions: how can program stakeholder motives shape a realist evaluation project; and how might realist evaluators respond to stakeholders’ belief-motive explanations, including those about program effectiveness, based on factors such as supererogatory commitment or trying together in good faith? Drawing on our realist evaluation of a service reform initiative involving multiple agencies, we describe stakeholder motives at key phases, highlighting a need for tactics and skills that help to manage explanatory tensions. In conclusion, the relevance of stakeholders’ belief-motive explanations (‘we believe the program works’) in realist evaluation is clarified and discussed. 相似文献

ABSTRACTThe use of pop culture sources in social work education enhances the learning of MSW students in the human behavior, policy and diversity courses. Pop culture sources can enhance learning because of the potential for a quicker recall of content, revealing hidden talents and sophisticated understanding of the concepts, and making the assignments more enjoyable for students. However, the impact of utilizing pop culture sources among MSW students in research courses remains unknown. It is imperative that contemporary teaching modalities be implemented in research courses because MSW students have mixed feelings about taking research classes and conducting research of their own. The purpose of this article is to report findings of the implementation of a pop culture source-analyzing song lyrics-in an introductory MSW research class at one university in the USA. Qualitative and quantitative data were collected from (N = 17) MSW students. Findings lend support to utilizing the song lyrics exercise, as students reported enhanced self-efficacy and knowledge of the research process. Porter and Kramer’s concept of creating shared value (CSV) has been welcomed as an approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) among corporations that also provides a practical opportunity for dialogue in public relations, but it has been little examined from the general population’s (i.e., the public’s) perspective. Such scrutiny is important because its findings enable public relations to contribute to the debate and development of CSV from both the public’s and the organization’s viewpoints. Additionally, if public relations professionals understand how the public perceives CSV, they can give a strategic perspective to top management for maximizing moral capabilities of the business and formulate effective communication to promote CSV initiatives. This study investigates whether the public prefers corporations to practice CSV as opposed to intrinsic CSR as a separate pursuit from business interests. It also explores the role of leadership as an influential and ethical construct in implementing effective CSV as perceived by the public. The public’s preference for CSV over intrinsic CSR was revealed in a survey of 1784 participants in the United States (US), Germany, and China. Factor analysis results further suggested that effective CSV competencies of CEOs were construed as a unidimensional concept in the US, but German and Chinese participants viewed it as two-dimensional. The public perceived that leaders’ moral character played a more important, core role in effective CSV than did altruistic and behavioral attributes, across nations. Funding decisions to support vulnerable children are tied to child labour statistics, hence the importance of an accurate measurement. The author analyses whether the type of respondent plays an important role in explaining variations in child labour statistics. Using data from two sites in Tanzania, the analysis shows that “whom we ask” matters considerably when estimating the prevalence of child labour. The results suggest that prevalence increases by approximately 35 to 65 per cent when using child self‐reports rather than proxy reports. This bias affects 14 to 31 per cent of the sample, depending on the indicator. Discrepancies decrease as the child ages and increase if proxy attitudes demonstrate opposition to child labour. 相似文献

通过构建一个农民工追求跨期效用最大化的OLG模型,理论分析了均衡条件下农民工收入及风险偏好因素对其养老保险参与决策的影响;基于全国31个省市的调查数据,利用双变量Probit模型实证分析了个人与家庭特征、收入与土地、务工状况与预期等因素对农民工养老保险参与决策的影响。结果表明:务工与务农收入对农民工参与养老保险决策的影响并不显著,而恩格尔系数和非收入性因素却大多显著地影响了农民工的参保决策。为此,一方面,要提高农民工的收入水平、生活宽裕程度和支付能力,使之更有意愿和能力参与养老保险;另一方面,要增强农民工对未来生活确定性的预期和安全感,使之参与养老保险的水平得以提高。 相似文献

顾炎武不仕贰朝的道德形象被晚清以来的政统与道统肯定。学界将顾炎武不仕贰朝的原因归结于个人超群绝伦的道德品质,这种解释既无视顾氏与新朝频繁接触的史实,也没有考察顾氏不仕贰朝的具体原因。要解释顾氏思想与行为的变化应该到清初制度环境中寻找,清政权实施一系列的汉化与尊儒制度,为顾炎武等人与清政权的接触提供了制度环境。顾炎武与清制度共同推崇的儒家思想是二者耦合的思想基础。顾炎武的思想与行为是现实的,他的形象也应是具体的、相对的,而不是抽象的、绝对的。 相似文献

This article analyses the impact of enforcement of four labour standards (pension system enrolment, minimum wage, maximum weekly working hours and written employment contract) on compliance in Peru, where labour regulations and penalties vary according to firm size. The author uses household survey data to analyse a factor not previously studied – adjustment by firms through downsizing to benefit from lower fines and less stringent regulations. The empirical findings indicate that enforcement efforts have little effect on either the degree of compliance or the size of firms. 相似文献
