中国传统文化在英语文化教学中的地位

从文化和语言以及汉英两种文化之间的关系看,中国传统文化是跨文化交际的前提,是跨文化交际与教学的平台和桥梁。注重中国文化在外语教学中的影响和作用,有利于提高外语学习者的跨文化修养和水平。因此,在英语文化教学中不能忽视中国传统文化教学。

The Role of Traditional Chinese Culture in English Culture Teaching

In foreign language learning,people usually pay more attention to the negative interferences of our mother tongue and our own culture.However,the positive effects of the traditional Chinese culture on learning English culture should not be ignored.This paper analyzes the role of Chinese traditional culture in English teaching by introducing the relationships between culture and language,and the relationships between Chinese and English culture in particular.It is therefore important for foreign language learners to study Chinese culture,similarly Chinese culture teaching should not be ignored in foerign language teaching.
