流行语“PK”词源研究——评议《流行语“PK”解析》

近几年"PK"一词迅速走红,许多文章对其含义与语法功能作了详尽解析,而在讨论其起源时却显得过于随意。虽能找出源于电子游戏和源于足球点球两种观点,但在对二者进行比较时却未能作深入讨论,且理由略显单薄,缺乏说服力。本文力图从词义内涵、出现时间与使用频率三个方面入手,对比说明后者作为最初起源的优势,然后针对该问题又引入日语作为媒介语,大胆提出一种新的假设。

Etymological Study of the Popular Term "PK"——Disussion on Analysis of the Popular Term "PK"

In recent years,the term "PK" becomes used widely and quite popular.Many an essay makes a full explanation to its lexical meanings and grammatical functions.However,little convincing evidence has been provided in its etymological study,even though most of them have traced its origin back to video game and football as alternatives.This article compares these two origins and states the advantages of the latter from three aspects: primary meaning,appearance time and frequency of uses.Finally,the author introduces the language of Japanese as a go-between,and proposes a new hypothesis for the further study of this topic.
