Abstract:One of poetry's essences is music.The main current of the poetry theory of the Ming comparatively noticed poetry's music.For example,in his book "On Poetry in Mountain Foot Study",Li Dongyang regarded music as an original and basic feature of poetry.Xie Zhen paid attention to analysis of melody."Only music could not be forged."Paying special attention to poetry's music means attaching great importance to the expression of poetry.
