中国高等教育面对入世存在的主要问题和对策

中国入世 ,对我国经济和社会产生深远的影响 ,争夺人才是经济社会的重要特征。高校 ,作为人才培养基地 ,必须面向社会所需 ,输出面向世界的“国际人”。为此 ,高校要树立高等教育为经济服务的理念 ,加快高等教育体制的改革 ,提高开放办学的水准 ,尽快融入世界 ;要培育核心竞争力 ,造就国际教育知名品牌 ,促进我国高等教育的特色化和国际化。同时 ,要捍卫自己的本土文化 ,保留自己的特色 ,防止西化 ,真正意义上实现中国的发展

China's Education Facing Major Problems and Its Countermeasures after Entering WTO

China's entering WTO may produce deep and long-time influence on economy and society of China.The competition for talents is important feature in economic society.University as the base of training talents must meet the need of society and export "international persons" facing the world.Therefore university should set up the cognition that higher education must serve economy,speed up system reforms of higher education,raise level of openly running schools and merge into the world;University must train central competitive power,foster famous brands of international education and promote China's higher education to be characteristic and internationalization.At the same time university should protect native culture keep their owen features,prevent from being Westernized and really complete development.
