明清时期江淮地区频发水旱灾害的原因探析

明清时期江淮地区水旱灾害的频繁发生是多种复杂因素共同作用的结果。过渡性的地形、气候、水系造就了江淮地区脆弱的生态环境,自然孕灾机率本身就很高。不合理的经济开发活动又使原本脆弱的生态环境更加恶化,诱发和催化了水旱灾害的频繁发生。而围绕水利设施使用所产生的水事矛盾,又加剧了水旱灾害的频发和灾情的蔓延。

An Exploration of the Causes of Constant Floods and Droughts in the Yangtze and Huaihe River Area During the Ming and Qing Dynasties

The constant floods and droughts in the Yangtze and Huaihe river area during the Ming and Qing dynasties had resulted from the combined action of many elements. The transitional topography, weather and water system, which had formed the instable ecosystem in the Yangtze and Huaihe river area, led to high probability of natural disasters. Moreover, the unreasonable economic development worsened the frail ecosystem and resulted in constant floods and droughts in the area, and disputes concerning the usage of the irrigation works in the area also increased the occurrence and expansion of the natural disasters.
