关联理论对方言翻译方法的启示——以陕西方言为例

关联理论认为,翻译是一个认知推理的交际过程,因此译者的任务就是:力求在分析选择语境的过程中找到最佳关联,创造足够合适的关联效果,以使原文作者的意图与译语读者的企盼相吻合.关联理论翻译观强调语境对认知的作用,这为方言的翻译研究提供了认知层面的理论依据.本文试分析关联理论翻译观对方言翻译的指导作用,探讨关联理论翻译观指导下的方言翻译方法,认为方言的翻译应该要根据语境分析交际意图、寻找最佳关联,才能收到方言翻译的最佳效果

The Effect of Relevance Theory on the Approach of Dialect Translation

According to the Relevance Theory,translation can be regarded as a cognitively inferential communication process.Therefore,the translator’s assignment is to arrive at the optimal relevance by seeking for the accessible contextual factors,so that the output of translation can successfully match the original author’s intention with the reader’s expectation.The notion of translation based on relevance emphasizes the role of context on cognition,which provides theoretical basis for the study of dialect translation at the cognitive level.This article attempts to analysis the effect of relevance theory on dialect translation and on the approach of dialect translation.In this article it is believed that dialect translation should analysis the communicative intention and seek for the optimal relevance,thus dialect translation can receive its best results.
