语境在翻译选词方面起着至关重要的作用。在翻译过程中,语境制约词汇的意义和译文词汇的选择,并限制和促成言语活动效果的产生。如果不能正确理解和把握语境（原文语境及译文语境）,译文就不能准确。因此,译者不仅要解读原文语篇语境,还要构建译文语篇语境。本文将以语篇语境为依据研究汉译英措辞取向。

On Diction in C-E Translation from the Contextual Perspective

Context plays a crucial role in successful translation diction because it confines the meaning of words and the choice of words.As a result,the translator should not only interpret the context of the source language properly,but also construct the context of the target language in one way or another.This paper deals with the diction in C-E translation process within the framework of the theory of context.
