2000——2002年《儒林外史》研究述评

吴敬梓的论经著作《文木山房诗说》重现后 ,《儒林外史》研究在原有基础上有了新的进展。本文从《诗说》及其与《儒林外史》关系研究 ,创作主旨、总体构思及吴敬梓与全椒、扬州关系探讨 ,人物形象意蕴的发掘及情节本事考辨 ,艺术特色及比较研究等四个方面总结了 2 0 0 0— 2 0 0 2年《儒林外史》研究的状况及其业已取得的成果 ,并指出研究还可进一步深入展开

A Review of the 2000-2002 Study of The Scholars

After the reappearance of On Poetry by Wu Jingzi, the research on The Scholars(a great novel by Wu Jingzi) has made new progress. The article makes a summary of the 2000-2002 study of The Scholars and its achievements by examining the relation of On Poetry to The Scholars, the motif and structure of the novel, Wu's relation with Quanjiao and Yangzhou, the analysis of the characters and plots in the novel, the artistic features and comparative study of the novel. Finally, it is pointed out that the research on The Scholars could be deepened.
