论庄子“逍遥游”的自然美学观

On the Natural Aesthetic View Embodied in Zhuang Zi's Carefree Excursion

Heaven and Earth have great beauty, for they contain the simplicity of the Tao; nature has great affection, for it has eternal impulse of life. ＂Everything and I are one＂ points to the same source of man and nature. ＂Observe things through things＂emphasizes that we should look at everything with an aesthetic eye. The relationship between mind and things is the effect of the naturalness of things upon the naturalness of soul. The result of their interaction is the formation of simple and pure emotions of beauty. The natural aesthetic thoughts of Zhuang Zi have enlightened and given rise to many key categories of classical Chinese aesthetics.
