当代东方儒学复兴的启示

东方儒学成为东、西方共同瞩目的研究对象是在当代的事 ,然而东方儒学作为东方学的一个概念的成立 ,却是有着深厚的全球文化背景和久远的历史文化渊源。无论从东、西文化的差别 ,东方文化的不同类型 ,以及东方文化的中国文化圈内各国所受到儒学的影响来讲 ,儒学都应该成为东方学研究的重要内容。今日的儒学 ,已经不仅仅局限于一种古老的学术文化层面 ,它经历了近代以后东西文化的碰撞、冲突、融和 ,经历了东亚一些民族国家的社会转型和经济发展 ,以及文化的觉醒而得到新生 ;在内容上 ,它包容了东方以及东方学在地理、政治、经济 ,乃至民族、文化、文明、社会发展、经济活动等多方面的内涵。当代东方儒学的复兴 ,给我们作为儒学原发地的中国 ,对于儒学的重新认识和定位 ,及儒学研究的发展 ,都带来了十分重要的启示

Enlightenment of the Rejuvenation of Oriental Confucianism in Contemporary Times

Oriental Confucianism became the object of study attracting the attention of both the West and East in contemporary times. However, Oriental Confucianism as a concept was established under the context of global culture and can trace far back in history. Judging by the differences between the East and West, the different types of Oriental culture and the influence of Confucianism on those countries within the circles of Chinese culture, Confucianism has every reason to become the important contents of Oriental studies. Confucianism today is not just confined to an ancient cultural level; it has gained a new life after the Eastern and Western cultural crashes, conflict and blending, social transformation and economic development of some East Asian countries, and the awakening of culture. It covers the East as well as such aspects as geography, economy, nationality, culture, civilization, social development and economic activities of Oriental studies. The rejuvenation of Oriental Confucianism in contemporary times gives very important inspiration to China as the source of Confucianism, the re-cognition and orientation of Confucianism and the development of the study of Confucianism.
