英汉翻译中语用预设信息转化模式探讨

对于成功的语言交际来说,预设是至关重要的。预设的引发不仅有语言因素,也有许多非语言因素,这些给翻译带来了诸多不便。译者不仅需要知道在源语文化中缺乏什么预设,而且还需要了解源语文化中存在的预设对翻译所带来的影响。在翻译中,译者应该正确处理预设关系,从而使读者(或听者)能够准确把握源语的内涵。结合实例,本文对英汉翻译中语用预设信息转化模式进行了探讨。

On Transformation Mode of Pragmatic Presupposition Information in English-Chinese Translation

Presupposition is vital for successful communication.Not only the linguistic factors but also the non -linguistic factors cause certain presuppositions,and this discommodes translation greatly.A translator not only needs to know the shortage of certain presuppositions in the culture of a source language,but also should under- stand the possible influence on the translation from the existing presuppositions in the culture of the source lan- guage.In translation,a translator should handle pragmatic presuppositions properly,so that the readers or listeners can understand the source language correctly.Through illustration,this paper discusses the transformation mode of pragmatic presupposition information in English-Chinese translation.
