Accompanying Meanings of Words and Intercultural Communication

Language and culture has close relationship.They are closely and intricately related.English and Chinese languages both have a lot of words with cultural loads.They are different in cultural loads.As an important part of language,connotation is closely connected with the culture of a country and also has a great influence on the result of our communication.This paper tries to elucidate the connection of connotation and intercultural communication so as to reduce communication obstacles and lead to successful trans-cultural communication.
