| Abstract: | The practice of poem presentation was very common in the heyday of Tang dynasty.In order to be noticed,appreciated and promoted by high-ranking officials,many intellectuals made a special effort to write and present poems.This paper aims to analyze the underlying reasons for the special social phenomenon and the intellectuals' personalities and motivations. |
