| Abstract: | Howard Goldblatt can be counted as the most productive translator who introduces Chinese contemporary literature to the western world.A brief introduction to his view of translation was given:translation is to enhance communication between cultures;translators should be competent,adopt serious attitude and enjoy translating;translated texts can be compromises between fidelity and creativity. |
