大学英语模块化课程设置与实证研究

摘    要:传统的大学英语课程设置注重语言知识的积累,但在一定程度上忽略了应用能力的培养和文化素养的提高。研究大学英语模块化课程设置可发现,要真正提高学生的英语水平,必须改革现有的课程设置,在基础英语阶段后开设后续课程和双语/外语教学课程,以确保整个大学阶段英语学习不断线,实践证明,这一方案对英语教学有很大的促进作用。

Abstract:Conducting further reform of College English teaching is the requirement of the state’s and social needs for the cultivation of talented personnel in the new era. The traditional curriculum design focuses on the accumulation of language knowledge, but it neglects the development of communicative ability and cultural quality to some extent. This paper mainly explores how to design a module-based College English curriculum on the basis of an empirical research. If we keep teaching English throughout the whole college years and emphasize the follow-up courses and bilingual education after the teaching of basic English courses, the teaching quality and students’ English ability will be constantly improved.
