| 摘 要： | 《诺斯托罗莫》历来被评论家认为是康拉德小说创作的巅峰之作,寄寓着丰富的道德内涵。运用文学伦理学批评方法,从康拉德的道德观入手,回到小说创作的历史语境,结合小说的叙事艺术,挖掘小说主人公诺斯特罗莫和高尔德在物质利益的引诱下不断堕落的伦理学意义,揭示人类道德堕落的严重后果,表现出康拉德深切的道德关怀。

| Abstract: | Nostromo is agreed upon most of Joseph Conrad＇s critics as his greatest novel. The novel conveys rich moral signifi- cance. Based on the ethical literary criticism, the ethical significance in the novel is explored by discussing Conrad＇s view of moral, the historical context of the novel＇s creation, and Nostromo＇s and Gould＇s moral degeneration because of the temptation of the material interests. Conrad shows us the serious consequence of degeneration of human beings＇ morality, and expresses his deep concern for moral issues. |
