The Influence of Nepal's Ethnic and Religious Issues on the Construction of the South Asia Corridor

The South Asia Corridor is an important component of the "B&R",which has brought new opportunities for the cooperation between China and South Asian countries. However,the countries and regions along the South Asia Corridor have complex ethnic groups and diverse religions,which are also faced with many challenges in the field of ethnic and religious issues. Nepal has a special position in the construction of the South Asia Corridor,the importance of ethnic and religious factors cannot be ignored. On the one hand,we should make full use of the positive role of ethnic and religious factors in Nepal;on the other hand,it is necessary to take effective measures to deal with the ethnic and religious issues in Nepal,which will bring political,economic and security risks to the construction of the South Asia Corridor.
