西口文化：中国文化传统演进中的异化与传承

“西口”作为一种历史现象,近年来被提升到了“文化”的高度。西口现象何以被称作文化,目前没有学者做出过明确的界定。文章通过对文化的内涵与外延的比较,确定了西口作为文化现象的各种因素,即西口现象符合作为一种文化所应具备的条件,并给予西口文化以确切的定义。文章作者认为西口文化是以山西右玉杀虎口为核心,军事文化为基础的,明清时期与南方主流文化相对应的、西北地区特有的一种俗文化现象。在此基础上,进一步界定了西口文化的特征,阐述了这一文化现象是在中国文化传统这一宏观背景下的局部异化现象,是对古代中国文化的有益补充。

Xikou Culture:Alienation and Dissemination of the Chinese Cultural Tradition in the Course of Evolution

Xikou,as a historical phenomenon,has been uplifted to the height of culture in recent years.However,there hasn't been a clear definition on how Xikou phenomenon can be called culture.This paper defines various factors of Xikou as a cultural phenomenon by comparing connotation and denotation of culture,that is,Xikou phenomenon satisfies all the requirements of being a culture and also the exact definition of Xikou culture is given.Xikou culture is a unique local phenomenon in the northwest region with Shahukou in Youyu county of Shanxi Province as its core,military culture as its base,and a counterpart of the south mainstream culture in Ming and Qing Dynasties as well.In addition,the paper delimits the features of Xikou culture and elaborates its local alienation of this phenomenon at the background of the Chinese cultural tradition,which is a valuable supplement to the ancient Chinese culture.
