“新经济原则”在英语写作教学中的应用

经济原则是指导语言应用的一条基本原则，但言语的经济性不等于词句方面的一味求少，而应是简洁和效果的统一。“新经济原则”为言语优化配置提供了很好的指导作用。在英语写作教学中，教师应将“新经济原则”中的“一般均衡准则、前提共识准则、择近准则、言语生效准则以及从众准则”具体应用于指导学生写作中的遣词造句和谋篇布局，从而更好地帮助学生掌握写作经济的真谛。

Application of"New Economy Principle" in English Writing Teaching

The economy principle is a fundamental rule guiding language application,but the economy of speech can't be equated with the minimum use of words;instead,it means the conformity of conciseness and effectiveness."New Economy Principle" provides guidance for the optimal distribution of linguistic resources.English teachers should in-struct the students in diction,sentence making,paragraph organization,and discourse construction in their English writing by applying following five maxims of"New Economy Principle"-general equilibrium,common premises,sat-isfaction adequacy,speech effectiveness,and conformity-aiming at helping students gain an insight into the essence of economy in writing.
