论第四代导演与现代性问题

摘    要:本文从现代性的维度考察中国电影史上作为特定文化现象的第四代导演群体,认为第四代导演先天秉有理想主义气质和浪漫主义精神,他们的影片在取材上偏向于乡村题材,致力于诗化理想和"纯美"追求,表现出某种感伤和忧郁的风格。第四代导演还在都市文明与乡村文明、现代性追求与道德化理想之间表现出困惑、迷茫或错位的特点。这些特点,可以理解为对"现代性"的一种"先知式"的批判。第四代导演对于我们保持现代性话语的内在张力与态势平衡,维持社会与人的多元健康发展,具有借鉴和启示意义。

Abstract:The fourth generation of film directors has been approached in this paper from the perspective of modernity. These directors are idealists and romanticists. Their films, sentimental and melancholy, based primarily on the life of the countryside, cultivate a poeticized idealism and a feeling of pure aesthetics. Conflicts between city civilization and country culture, between the pursuit of modernity and moral idealism are also well presented in their films. These characteristics can be known as a prophetic critique of modernity. A study of the fourth generation film directors will help maintain a tension and balance in the discourse of modernity and actuate a poly_healthy development of both man and society.
