元末西夏遗民诗人王翰与东南文化

Poet Wang Han as a Descendant of Xixia and Southeastern Culture at the End of Yuan Dynasty

As a fourth-generation descendant of Xixia in Yuan Dynasty, Wang Han migrated to the southeast, mainly lived in Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, etc., and committed suicide for Yuan Dynasty 11 years after the founding of Ming Dynasty. Wang Han has become a model for the study of living conditions of Xixia descendants at the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty. The human and natural environment in the southeast has left great influence on Wang Han's ideas and creation. In the network of communication and travel of various ethnic groups, Wu Hai has left the greatest influence on Wang Han's ideas and behavior. The prevailing Confucian school of idealist philosophy in southeast has created macro environment for the formation of Wang Han's idealist outlook. Wang Han's idealist outlook includes such aspects as filial piety, loyalty to monarch and patriotism, etc. Wang Han's landscape poems have displayed his idealist spirit, and his poems, with the local characteristics of the southeast, are of comparatively higher artistic quality.
