个人优先还是社群优先？——评自由主义与社群主义之争

在当代政治哲学中,自由主义与社群主义之争是学术界关注的热点之一。自由主义的出发点是个人的自由和权利,而社群主义的价值本原在于社会整体和群体关系。二者从相互对立的立场上阐明其观点对当代社会生活的意义,但它们各自的理论缺陷使之难以战胜对方。只有从人的现实社会生活出发,把个人与社会看成是一个有机整体和互动过程,才能超越二者的局限性。

Individual First or Community First?——On the Contending between Liberalism and Communitarianism

In contemporary philosophical and political studies,the contending between liberalism and communitarianism is one of the hottest topics.The starting point of the former is freedom and rights while the value of the latter lies in the relationship between society as a whole and communities.They both try to elaborate on the significance of their opinions on contemporary social life,but fail to convince to each other due to their respective shortcomings.On by taking individual and society as an organic whole and an interactive process from the realistic social life of individuals can we surpass their limitations.
