| 摘 要： | 法律与法规是文化的重要组成部分。化妆品说明书汉译符合目的语的法制文化是跨文化交际成功的关键,是决定汉译目的的前提,其语言美在其次。对照我国现有化妆品说明书编写法规与标准,当前化妆品说明书汉译中较严重地存在着原文技术性信息无根据增译以及译文累赘、冗长等违规现象,其根源是法制观念淡薄与对相关翻译理论的理解与应用有误。提高这些方面的认识,才能提高这种文本的翻译质量。

| Abstract: | Laws and legal regulations are an important and integral part of culture. In E-C translation of cosmetic instructions, to achieve a proper translation purpose and make cross-cultural communication successful, more importance should be attached to the conformity of TT to China＇s legal culture than to the beauty of its language. However, some current E-C translations of cosmetic instructions violate China＇s related decrees and standards for cosmetic instruction compilation by groundlessly increasing ST-offered technical information, resulting in much redundancy. The defective translations result from translators＇ weak awareness of law and their improper comprehension and application of related translation theories, which needs improving so as to enhance the quality of translations in question. |
