Agricultural and Pastoral Economy in Touxiazhou and East of Ancient Bailangshui of Liao Dynasty

Northwest of Liaoning in Liao dynasty were the main areas for the activities of Qidan People,which was called the native land of them.Because of its important location in strategy and superior surroundings,it aroused attention of the rulers.Many Touxiazhou's became pioneers of city-construction in the northern grassland.A great many Ha people entered Touxiazhou from middle areas accelerated the development of agriculture in northwest Liaoning. Under the organizational exploitation of administration,agricultural and pastoral economy developed quickly and population grew in great speed in most areas of east of ancient Bailangshui of Liao dynasty.It's important to study the exploitation to northwest of Liaoning in Liao dynasty and to discuss the advancement of agricultural and pastoral economy in these areas in history.
