论阮籍思想及其与《咏怀诗》的关系

历代对阮籍思想的评论大致有三种第一种认为,阮籍毁坏礼教;第二种认为,其内心崇奉礼教,儒家思想才是他的“本志”;第三种认为,阮籍的思想是不断发展演变的.文章作者认为这三种评价有其合理性,但也各有不足.作者通过考察阮籍的玄学论文,认为其思想是阮籍在无法实现理想的状况下,企图泯灭是非来寻求内心平衡的矛盾体.这种矛盾在阮籍《咏怀诗》中得到体现,并成为《咏怀诗》之所以具有艺术魅力的一个重要因素.

Ruan Ji's Thought and Its Revelation in Intimations of His Sentiments

Opinions about Ruan Ji's thought can roughly be classified into three categories: first, there have been critics who accused him of being destructive to Confucianism; secondly, side by side with the first category has been the contrary view that he was a Confucian in his inner mind and his true sympathies lay with nothing but Confucianism; the third school has refused to be too definitive and claimed that Ruan Ji's thought remained fluid in his life time. While each of those views contains truth, none of them is unchallengeable. The present essay, based on an investigation of his metaphysical writing, puts forward the author's reading of the issue that Ruan Ji's thought is a contradiction reflecting his bitterness at not being able to realize his ideals and his subsequent desperation to retain equilibrium by disregarding the demarcation between the right and the wrong. And this contradiction finds expression in Intimation of His Sentiments and to a considerable extent accounts for the enduring appeal of the poems.
