| 摘 要： | 汉语"搞"字是一个万能动词,在不同语境下有不同的含义.作者从"搞名堂"说起,阐述了"搞"字的六种基本含义,并就其不同的翻译方法提出了相应的分类.作者对普遍使用"搞"字的现象也做了深入的阐述.

| Abstract: | Chinese "gao" is an all-round verb, the meanings of which may vary under different contexts. In general, "gao" chiefly has six kinds of senses. Starting with "gaomingtang", this paper clarifies different approaches to translating "gao". The author also offers her understanding of the phenomenon of wide use of "gao". |
