| Abstract: | Conflict has appeared between traditional concept of teaching and the teaching of the basic lessons of artistic designing. Traditional mode of teaching is already unable to suit the development of modern society. Correctly recognizing the relation between the teaching of basic theories and that of professional designing, strenuously raising students' taste of beauty appreciation, and highly intensifying the training of the power of imagination and creation, all these are very important in the teaching of the basic lessons of arts. While emphasizing scientificity, feasibility, and practicability, it is also necessary to intensify students' understanding of decorative, structural, textural, and abstract beauties. |
